Gorgeous place, amazing owners

Posted 03-Sep-2014
Pros: the breakfast delivered fresh to our room, was fit for a king. Silvio even went out of his way to locate Latte Scemato for me !!!!!
Cons: nothing
Location: great quiet location and the food and Restaurants were undoubtably the best we encountered in all of Italy.
We stayed there mid August during our 4 week holiday in Italy. What an amazing and gorgeous place. The owners are the most accommodating, beautiful people and could not do enough for us. Positano became one of the highlights of our trip.

Dream Honeymoon!

Posted 11-Jul-2014
Pros: The people, the view, the room, the surroundings, the balcony... Pretty much everything.
Cons: WiFi was limited within our room but worked perfectly on the balcony.
Location: Great beaches, the path of the Gods, Ravello and the Villas... So much to see and do.
The Villa Yiara is an amazing place and I couldn't have though of a better place to spend our honeymoon. Silvio, Imara and Clementina are amazing people and made our stay so enjoyable with their beautiful outlook on life. By the end of our stay we were sad to have to leave. Thank you for giving us the most amazing week.

Our slice of heaven in Positano

Posted 09-Jun-2014 on Hotels.com
Villa Yiara was so fantastic. Imara and her husband Sylvio were so warm, welcoming and incredibly genuine and made our stay in Positano so great. They were full of enthusiasm about all the day trips and restaurants etc. we should try in the area, and we had such an amazing time. And our room was great, we loved sitting on our terrace and taking in the view. The villa is up on the hill but there are some sneaky stairs which get you to the main beach in 10mins and if you can't handle the stairs back up (they're tough!) you can just wind your way back up the road, much easier! Highly recommend Villa Yiara, it's personal yet not intrusive and one of the best accommodation we have had the pleasure of staying at.

Beautiful B&B with great service

Posted 02-Jun-2014 on Hotels.com
Villa Yiara provides breathtaking views of Positano from an 18th century home that was converted into a B&B. The owners are very friendly and attentive (accommodating specific room requests, making nightly reservations at local restaurants, tailoring the breakfast to individual needs, etc.). It's easy and fun to walk down the steps to nearby restaurants or the beach.

Beautiful villa in Positano

Posted 01-Jun-2014
Pros: Position, the view, the actual rooms including bathrooms, the breakfast, the free internet and the hosts.
Location: Located in the mid section of Positano so plenty of stair climbing should be expected. Incredible restaurants are within a 5 minute walk.
On arrival in Positano, we were greeted by the most wonderful and enthusiastic hosts who allowed us to choose our room. This was quite difficult as each room was as beautiful as the next with views of the ocean. The room we chose was particularly spacious flowing out onto a private balcony where we were served a fresh continental breakfast daily whilst enjoying the free wifi. As far as location, we could not have been happier. In the mid-section of Positano close to countless incredible restaurants. Obviously be prepared for lots of stair climbing however this is unavoidable in Positano. The beach was a 15 minute leisurely walk which was handy after overeating at every opportunity. Our hosts were a standout, going out of their way to help us plan our days and ensuring we were always comfortable.

Lovely balcony overlooking Positano and the sea

Posted 10-May-2014
Pros: Our hostess Imara and the service was terrific. The view from the balcony and the generous bedroom was great.
Our lovely hostess Imara showed us to our beautiful room with a large balcony overlooking Positano and the sea. Absolutely gorgeous in any kind of weather. Breakfast was served on our balcony. Some of the best coffee we have ever tasted. Be prepared to do a lot of stairs as this is Positano, all of it built into a steep hill.

Just great all. Can't imagine better B&B

Posted 24-Mar-2014
Pros: Imara, the best hostess. Awesome balcony. No problems and totally accommodating.
Cons: Non sweet breakfast food (e.g. cheese and ham). Other than that small thing, its perfect
Location: Eat, walk, climb stairs, shop, hike the Pathway of the Gods, take a scooter to Amalfi and Ravello. Sit on beach. relax
We just came back from four great nights and days a Villa Yiara. Imara, owner and hostess was just so friendly and helpful. She took great care of us and was eager to help set up arrangements for everything we inquired about. She knows the area and, even more important, knows everyone. The rooms are great sized. Bed is comfortable for Italy (no extra thick plush pillow top). Balcony has great view and was just wonderful to sit on for breakfast, sunset, and night-time relaxing. It helped that we had great weather. Rooms basically vary by bathroom features. Breakfasts came within moments of calling for them or as schedules. A tray full of pastries and, mixed fruit, and yogurt is brought each day. The only negative is that it would be nice to have a little more variety for breakfast, since everything is sweet (but delicious). Breakfast sweets are not my favorite, but I ate. Some cheese and ham would have helped. It is "cold" breakfast brought to your room. I highly recommend this place without question.

Beautiful view and great service

Posted 17-Jan-2014
Cons: For me the bed was a bit hard but for my husband it was ok.. The beds in Italy tend to be quite firm in general.
Location: Easy to walk to restaurants, beach to the top of the hill where there is a nice view. Buses go regularly to other towns in Amalfi coast.
The owners are so friendly and welcoming - definitely the best service we have received out of 6 weeks in Europe. They were helpful and booked train tickets etc for us and went out of their way to accommodate. The room was nice and spacious and had a beautiful view. It was a reasonable distance rom the beach but not too far - there were some easy short cuts. Plus amazing breakfasts served in your room so u can enjoy the view :)
