“Loved our two nights at the Marina riviera”
We had arrived after a 25 hour journey from New zealand. We had a fabulous room(junior suite) overlooking the water. It was fantastic. From Amalfi we could go anywhere. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The deck was fantastic, great for breakfast and snack meals with wonderful views and sunsets. The staff were friendly and helpful. We hope to teturn to Amalfi one day.
“Dont hesitate. Great hotel”
Forget Positino and Capri, Amalfi is amazing and this hotel has the best location and views firom your balcony and breakfast terrace the best in town. The staff are great and helpful and the breakfast is superb. We stayed for a week and it was heaven. Tips. Explore Atrani for geat food as its a two minute walk away. Hire a speedboat for half a day, go to Ravello and on the walk up the valley to Positano and back via Atrani. positano is an expensive disappointment and a waste for a day. capri port and town are dreadful but Anacapri is well worth a visit. The ferries are great and the bus rides unforgetable and a bit scary.
“Friendly staff, great location”
We visited at Easter 2011, the hotel is in an excellent location near the town centre with wonderful views from the balcony and dining room. Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff
“Great location, very nice hotel”
Our room was very large and extremely clean. We arrived at the main train station and the hotel was a 2-3 minute walk. Don't be put off by the close proximity to the station, because the moment you turn the corner into the street the hotel is in, you are in a great shopping area and the station is forgotten (not that the train station is not nice).
“Don't hesitate, book Marina Riviera”
Happy with my choice. If I stayed in Amalfi again, would definitely book this hotel. Good breakfast too, overlooking the marina and town. Tip, don't eat too much too quickly until waiter brings eggs to order menu over. Its free and very good. Amalfi is the perfect staging town for entire Amalfi coast. Early morning ferries to Positano, Capri, Salerno. Buses all day long up and down the coast. The southwards bus trip from Sorrento to Positano is scarier than most amusement park rides. Take a xanax if you're a back seat driver.
“Great location with amazing views”
We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 week stay at this hotel. It is located on the eastern end of the beach at Amalfi and has the most amazing view of the town and the surrounding coast. Breakfast and drinks on the terrace are a real treat. A double bonus is that it is right down at sea level so a level 2 min walk into the main town piazza. Lots of Amalfi hotels can only be reached by bus or a big walk. The staff were helpful with good English. Our room was small for the amount of money but we found that all accommodation is expensive on the Amalfi Coast. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
“Would absolutely stay here again”
This hotel is beautiful! It's clean and is beautifully decorated with white tile and ceramics. The breakfast buffet outside on the terrace is not only good but gives you a wonderful view of Amalfi. It's conveniently located by the beach and the main piazza with its shops, cafes, and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel and we're glad we stayed there.
“THE BEST HOTEL EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
In one word our trip was AMAZING!!!!!! There is nothing about our experience, the hotel, the sights and sounds that I would not reccomend to anyone in this world. Go enjoy and relax. The staff is there to help you in any way! The rooms are amazing the breakfast is TO DIE FOR!!!!! Tell the owners Briana and crew from CT say hello and we will see you next year! XO
“You Can't Appreciate This Hotel Until You Step Inside...WOW!”
We arrived at midnight and they were very accomodating. We had a car and they let us leave it at the front entrance in their spot for two days. The room was awesome. The view the best of the harbor and downtown. The hotel is up above the road that juts out so your vista's are endless in multiple directions. The decor, floors, etc impeccable. The breakfast terrrace was so wonderful and the food the best. Friendly courteous staff made you never want to leave. And it is right off the edge of the town...minutes to walk to the main area.
“Wonderful”
Perfect location, excellent hotel, just all positives.

Amalfi, Italy: A charming cluster of pastel houses, shops, cafés and watchtowers, Amalfi seems little more than a village. However it was a great naval power and a wealthy trading republic in medieval times. Its dramatic setting in jagged cliffs cloaked in vineyards is best seen from a boat. Amalfis star turn is a gorgeous cathedral with great bronze doors and lacy cloisters. The nearby village of Atrani is quiet and pretty, with a fine Byzantine church.
