Overpriced, tired, room was ugly. The amenities were poor, No bath, a fridge but with only 2 bottles of water which didn't get replaced for 3 nights. There was an ugly table and chairs and sofa bed in the room. Breakfast was a total shambles and the hotel was like a maze. the bed was comfortable and the balcony had a good view but overall I think I would have preferred to stay in s B&B.

Dirty and gross. Too far from town.

Not what I expected. It is NOT a 4 star hotel. The pictures looked far better than the hotel was in real life.

highest in the resort

Posted 05-Jun-2015
Pros: It did have great views
Cons: needed a lot of TLC and possibly more staff to speed this up a bit, the bar was in the restaurant and no one could serve during dinner.
Location: Really high up so views marvellous, lovely shops and bars down the hill, Capri and Amalfi water taxis so easy to get, buses really cheap and also easy
Stayed here at the end of May beginning of June, unfortunatly it rained when i arrived and on and off for the next few days. I had thought the pool bar and snack bar would have been open but this was not so and did not open till the 2nd of June two days before i left. The food at the Hotel was not very good in the evening i only had a couple of meals in , i think they were more aligned to German tastes . Breakfast ok but it did take 10 mins to get a pot of tea , would have been simpler to put the hot water out and do it yourself. When i left the weather was great and my legs great after walking up and down the hill , you could catch a bus but there were lots of nice restuarants and shops on the way down to while away the time.

It was good for a night

Posted 05-Jun-2015
Specified twin beds and got a double, we were four friends traveling together and preferred not to sleep in the same bed. The chairs did fold down but were not comfortable to sleep on. The layout was confusing as well and the restaurant had only a few options to eat. We stayed only one night and it was fine.

Pros: molto poco.

Not well managed, restaurant staff not friendly.

Posted 04-May-2015
Pros: The layout, it is built against the mountain. Rooms are spacious. Hotel has potential if only well-managed...
Cons: Having someone wearing waiter / waitress uniform, does not qualify for the job. Restaurant staff isn't good at all.
Location: Easy access to walking trails, easy access to SITA bus. We found Positano not that great, Amalfi and Ravello seem much more appealing.
The location is not ideal when you want to access Positano water front, although it is close to one of the two SITA bus stops. The hotel itself is okay, not many facilities though. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Hardly no lobby. No wifi in the rooms, only in part of the restaurant and lobby both requiring different access codes. The restaurant staff is downright rude, the breakfast is not that good. Parking charges EU 20 per day. Receptionists were awesome, they were very helpful. We found the place overpriced, no good value for money.

Hotel is located closed to bus station and it is convenient to take the bus to the beach area easily. Car Parking space inside the hotel is very limited. Hotel staff are very nice and helpful.

Dreamlike view

Posted 12-Apr-2015
Positano itself is a very dreamlike experience, and it would take A LOT for a hotel to ruin your experience. This hotel is situated higher on the hill and you will get extra exercise climbing up and down the steps! I really enjoyed the descent because every turn offers a new perspective of this mesmerizing place, each view even more captivating than the last. A remodel would not hurt domina, but the room is definitely spacious and comfortable. Make sure to get a sea view!
