“A Well Priced Gem”

This hotel was home away from home, spacious, great views and close to the bus stop which is important in Positano!

“Definitely will return”

The most amazing views of Positano and very centrally located. Maria has many o pointers of what to do.Go to the dock and get on the boat with the red fish on the mast. The ride is free and it will take you to a small beach about 10 minutes away. You can rent a beach chair for 7 Euros a day ( this is standard) and definitely eat at Da Adolfo. Amazing fresh seafood on the beach. Also make sure to go Sarraceno D'Oro and Da Vincenzo for Dinner. Skip the touristy restaurants on the beach.

“Not to be missed!”

Hotel California was amazing from start to finish! It was in a prime Positano location. Our room was amazing and I can't wait to go back! Thank you to Maria!

“Beautiful hotel and incredible view!!”

I absolutely loved our time at the Hotel California, Positano! The room was quite large with a comfortable bed. The room was very clean and well maintained. I loved the French door shutters that opened for a panoramic view of the Mediterranean... Wow!! The hair dryer in the bathroom was more like a vacuum cleaner hose that put out cold air... definitely needs to be updated! The staff was very friendly and helpful, but be careful with front desk recommendations as they are typically expensive and not necessarily the best based on other experiences we had on our own. Not sure if there are cooperative relationships between certain restaurants and this hotel which causes the referrals that aren't necessarily the best in quality or price. Other than that, we had an absolutely wonderful time and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone without reservation! It is beautiful... you won't be disappointed!

“Loved this area”

We had a great time in Positano. We were there for a family wedding, and the hotel was situated near everything that we needed. There is really no space for a car, but transportation can be booked through the hotel. Restaurants, beach, shopping, bus and water transportation are all within a short walking distance. I would definately stay in this hotel again.
