If u have never been to the Amalfi Coast u must go it is simply spectacular. The NH Hotel is so good we are booking to go back again.
Fantastic views and location
It's not cheap but it is worth it.
Make sure you get a room with a balcony as the rooms can feel a touch claustrophobic

We stayed 2 nights in June. Our room had a great sea view. The room was specious and had a beautiful fresco. The breakfast was excellent and the view from the terrace is amazing. The staff was more than helpful.
The staff were excellent and the location is superb. Getting a room at the front of the hotel is a must to appreciate the beauty and vibrancy of the place. Our room had a great sea view and was above the main road. This was not an issue as the double glazed windows and shutters coupled with excellent air conditioning nullified the noise.
The roads to and from Naples airport are an experience. I will say no more.
What can I say... Fantastic location, excellent hotel and friendly staff. We had a great time experiencing the Amalfi coast from this lovely hotel. Can not fault anything about it. The hotel has been in the same family for over 42 years and they have really pushed the boat out to keep the family atmosphere. Fantastic views as it is right on the sea front and close to everything. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. Lovely clean rooms and the swimming pool on the top terrace with great views across the bay and mountain landscape. Would recommend to anyone and we will certainly be visiting again. Make sure to book in the adjoining restaurant which is owned by the hotel, a truly gastronomic experiance. 5 star rating in my book!

80 stairs are most difficult daily.very clean, great location, no pool. The male receptionist and male porter were most kind. Generally everyone was nice. Breakfast, simple but satisfactory, was a welcome treat to avoid going on stairs again. Beautiful views!! Bus and taxi ($$$$) only, no docks. Eat at Le Palma, mmmm!
Built into the mountain in the 1960s, it seems like an outdated hotel with few facilities. There are hours every day when you cannot get anything to eat except a snack at the beach or the pool (and there were times when you actually could not get anything to eat during the day). On arrival, my wife and I were given a room in the basement, which had a basement mold/mildew smell, and a plastic coated bedspread. We rejected the room, and thankfully because we book our stay through Expedia, we were given a room two stories higher (there are 5 stories of rooms), and this new room was acceptable (but not anything to write home about). The beach chaises and grounds are not particularly appealing. However, in spite of all these negatives, the views are amazing, the desk clerk was so amazing that we gave him a tip (which we think was generous), most of the wait staff was very nice, the food was good, and we enjoyed our stay. P.S. Driving along the Amalfi coast ia an indescribable experience that anyone likely will either love or hate.
The hotel is in a great location right in the heart of the downtown area. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was just fine. Breakfast was really great and we took it up to the roof where we could watch the sea and the interesting town.

Amazing views over the sea from our room and in the breakfast area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location. Only down side is that there was no was tea/coffee making facilities and we had to use very steep spiral stairs down to our room. People with mobility issues would really struggle. But overall a lovely little hotel.
If you are wanting somewhere to stay which is central and reasonably priced you cant go past this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable. Just make sure you dont mind waking early to the sound of the beautiful church bells

A charming cluster of pastel houses, shops, cafés and watchtowers, Amalfi seems little more than a village. However it was a great naval power and a wealthy trading republic in medieval times. Its dramatic setting in jagged cliffs cloaked in vineyards is best seen from a boat. Amalfi’s star turn is a gorgeous cathedral with great bronze doors and lacy cloisters. The nearby village of Atrani is quiet and pretty, with a fine Byzantine church.
