We loved this hotel. It was the last hotel we stayed in on our 10 day stay in Europe and definitely our favorite. The young girl who checked us in could not have been more helpful. The room was large, clean, and highly efficient. The location was great as you could walk to places to eat and shop and also not far from a train station. Great place! Would definitely go back!

I enjoyed our stay at the Bayerisches Hof. The hotel has excellent facilities, e.g. breakfast room and large swimming pool with view of the Frauenkirche. The room itself was spacious with comfortable sitting area. Only the AC and TV did not work well. It was also a long walk from the elevators.

Centrally located, near public transportation. Room was very comfortable and satisfied all of our needs and expectations. The staff was fantastic -- very helpful and always looked out for us. Look forward to staying at the Platzl again soon.

From the check in experience to the rooms to the staff in the spa and at the restaurant, this property is among the best I've ever been to. The facilities are top notch including the electronically controlled waterfall shower head, iPads in the room, equipment and even the juice bar in the spa. I wish I didn't have to work while I was there and could have enjoyed the property more. Great location and a must stay property while in Munich.
Pleasant stay. Hotel close to all attractions and transport. Room on level 3, quite noisy from street.
Advertised terrace but only table and chairs for restaurant outside. Restaurant closed Sunday and Monday.
Premier room quite spacious and clean
He stayed at this hotel in July 2015. This is our first trip to Munich, and we were not sure really where to stay. We chose this hotel because it was close to the metro stop. The hotel is near the Lehel metro stop, and was a 7 to 8 minute walk to our hotel. The hotel does not have an air conditioner, so it was quite hot while we were there. However, there was a huge window in the room and we were able to open it up completely and that helped cool down the room. There is no safe in the room, and so we placed our valuables in the safe at the front desk. We really liked the room and would recommend it for travelers.
staff was fantastic and very friendly. Location is great in the middle of city center close to everything within walking distance. Train underground is within 5 minutes. Rooms are small but have all what you need. Nice kitchennate and free minibar.

The location was great- very short walk to some major attractions and literally right next to a train stop. The staff wasn't all that friendly but not mean or anything. The pillows were HORRIBLE though! You had to fold them like 3 times to get even a little support. Also, almost every night we could hear the bass from music being played somewhere nearby- this usually started around 10 pm and ended around midnight, so earplugs might be a good investment. The rooms were clean and good sized I thought. No free WIFI though and not even a computer in the lobby to use so that was pretty disappointing since we were traveling from the US and could only use our phones to look at maps and stuff when we had WIFI. If the location of this hotel hadn't been so good, I would give it only 2 stars.

The central Marienplatz bustles with shoppers and street musicians. The neo-Gothic City Hall has a breezy courtyard and café, while the 15th century old City Hall houses the Toy Museum. The Munich City Museum has exhibitions of film, brewing, and puppetry. Towering above busy Viktualienmarkt (a daily farmer's market) is the church of St Peter.
