Great location
We enjoyed the hotel very much. can't ask for better locations. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff at front desk as well as the restaurant were very helpful and friendly.

OK. 1. TOTALLY PISSED that the "piscine" was out of service. I come to this place specifically for this. Years ago, the spa had a steam room, two saunas, and a cold plunge, plus the whirlpool/piscine. There was a notice: piscine is out of service, we apologize for any inconvenience. This sounds like the American school shootings: "Thoughts and Prayers." BIG F---ING DEAL!!! TOTALLY STINKS! 2. There is a very large restaurant/bar complex. But the restroom facilities are totally inadequate. One toilet for men, one for women (inciting a VERY long line), one for disabled. Really. Happy to have had a room to go up to to relieve myself. 3. No bidet in the bathroom -- not even a hose like they have in Jerusalem. Granted, South Tyrol is not Italy. But south of the Brenner, they should have bathrooms with bidets. South Tyrol is not Arkansas. 4. The English menus need to be run by native speakers. "Rosmary" ??? "Mushed potatoes" ??? I have stayed here at least five times. Never again.

Great staff make a top hotel
This was our second stay at Stadt Hotel Citta and while the owners have changed and the decor, it's still a top hotel with great staff. Reception helped solve simcard problems with prompt advice. Nothing was too much trouble!

Great hotel! Amazing staff, great breakfast and awesome location. The pool/fitness/spa was fantastic too! Be sure to get parking instructions before you arrive. We would stay here again!

Visiting Bolzano
Pleasant. Nice room. No view unfortunately. Quiet. Excellent service from front desk staff. Lovely outside bar on piazza. Bolzano is a quaint and enjoyable city. Very Germanic feel. Not like being in the rest of Italy.

Very nice hotel with helpful staff willing to make recommendations about the area, book spa, and review maps. The hotel overlooks the towns main square with lots of outdoor dining options. We only stayed one night & wish we had more time!

Wonderful Stay in Beautiful Bolzano
The hotel is wonderful and very nicely designed. Perfect location on the main square. The room was beautiful and service was excellent. Slightly unfortunate final dinner at the hotel restaurant due to some homeless people hanging out across the street monitoring us and other passerby pedestrians—but that was no fault of the hotel. Would recommend very much!

Badly renovated, below average breakfast
Not the same hotel it used to be. The new management and the renovation didn't impact positively. Rooms look very old, and badly renovated. The "juniors suite" is just what was considered the standard room with a small armchair. SPA is not included anymore in the price (it used to be in the last 10 years) Last, but not least, breakfast is not even comparable to the last years. Nothing special, waffles and pancakes tasteless and "old", no strudel anymore... There are many better hotels nowadays inBolzano. Especially for this price

Crisp service and fresh remodel
Stadt Hotel Citta has recently been remodeled and was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. One plus for sustainability, but negative for comfort, was that owners retained the historic hardwood floors in the rooms, which are a bit loud when moving around. A minor trade-off. Thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend.

1. My room card got disactivated every second day, so I had to go back to the reception each time it happened. 2. Room services did not do the room properly, e.g., trash was not removed.

This was by far the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. From the simple check in with restaurant recommendations, to the view of the piazza, and THE most beautiful and tasty breakfast ever! This is where you want to be.

Friendly staff, wonderful outdoor bar area on public square, rooms smallish but otherwise clean and fine although somewhat short on amenities (bottled water, facial tissue, coffee maker etc. that one usually sees these days). Excellent location.
