It has superb breakfast. Swimming pool is really nice even we did not use though. Close to the main road and the hotel is just besides the river.

Although the property is great, my big qualm with this property is how they handled the additional person i had in the room. When i made the reservation, I reserved a suite which says is good for 4 people. The reservation on orbitz indicated 3 but my husband ended up coming last minute. When i checked in i told them we were 4 and not 3 so i was going to pay them the difference for breakfast which was included in the price. They told me they would charge me 40euros extra per day. I asked why so much and they said because there is extra labour for the 1 additional person. When i went to the room, the room was only set up for 3 so I called the front desk and they sent someone - it took them no more than 3 minutes to set up the bed for the 4th person and give me extra towels. So for all of this I have to pay 40euros extra - this doesn't make sense. Overall because i had 1 extra person I paid the equivalent of $150 Cdn - I could have easily not mentioned anything to them when i checked in but I was honest to have disclosed this and this is the way they reward honesty. At breakfast they don't even ask what room number who have so we could have had the extra person and they would not have noticed. So in the end, they do not know how to treat customers and the lesson learned for me is the next time i will not disclose i have extra people in my room. $150 is alot for us and during our 2 days in merano- we had to forego going out for supper to compensate for this extra fee

Wonderful relaxation
We had a wonderful time! The location was really great and the staff were superb. The breakfast was the best we’ve had all over Italy! Would definitely go back!

Amazing hotel by the river
We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel. We stayed in a suite but needed a rollaway bed because we had extra guests. We put that in the instructions when we booked and they had it set up and made when we got there! The front desk spoke wonderful English and were so welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. They even baked these little cookies for the hotel lobby each day that were so delicious we had to grab one each time we walked by! I recommend this place over and over again.

Great Hotel and Staff
Stayed here for one night during a 5 day visit to northern Italy. This was by far the best hotel we stayed in. The staff could not have been more helpful. The room was excellent and faced onto the river and had a private balcony. Would certainly stay here again.

Perfect location in Merano
We had a large 2 room apartment with a balcony. We chose this hotel for its location near promenade and city center and it was perfect. Good value for the cost.

Superb Staff
Very good facilities with a hard-working, caring staff. Excellent indoor play room for the kids. Generous breakfast available from 6:30AM. Not cheap, but worth the splurge if you can afford it.

Charming service appartment with river view
The hotel room/appartment was very nice and large, with a lovely view over the river. The outdoor pool was small but lovelly. The location is great, only minutes away from Merano's centre. One thing bothered me though, the wifi did not work in our room at all, we had to go to the ground floor to get wifi, even though the staff told us everything was fine, none of our devices could connect from inside the room.

A great place
We stayed here for a couple of nights on our way back to England from three weeks' holiday in Croatia. Merano is a beautiful place - no wonder it is very popular with Italian and German visitors.

Fantastic location right on the river. Unfortunately the rooftop jacuzzi was not working during our stay- very disappointing. Good breakfast options. Basic room but with lovely view of mountains from balcony. Friendly staff.

Very good.
Inexpensive for Merano. Efficiently run, while also welcoming and friendly. Breakfasts are good. It is well-positioned within easy walking distance of the train station and the centre of town. I'd stay there again.

Hotel Flora
Excellent location and hotel standard of cleanlines, quality, service, staff and comprehensive breakfast buffet. Parking a squeeze if opting for outside but free of charge but you need to leave keys with hotel staff. I opted to pay for a garage space and recommend this is reserved in advance as spaces limited and no need to leave keys for others to move your car if concerned.

Das Personal ist überaus bemüht und freundlich. Frühstücksbuffet und Ambiente sind top. Auf Grund der hohen Temperaturen wäre eine Klimaanlage toll gewesen.

Ottima colazione e posizione invidiabile
Hotel molto pulito e recentemente ristrutturato, a due passi dal centro ma in posizione tranquilla e gradevole, proprio sul lungofiume. Colazione ottima e varia, con personale gentile e disponibile. Camera comoda con l'unica pecca di non avere né l'aria condizionata, né un ventilatore (di giorno è risultata molto calda ma durante la notte, tenendo aperte tutte le finestre, abbiamo comunque dormito bene)

Sommerausklang 2020 in Südtirol
Ich habe mich in diesem Hotel sehr sehr wohlgefühlt. Es stimme einfach alles: 1. Zimmer mit Balkon 2. Sehr ruhige Lage 3. Sehr freundliches Personal 4. Fulminantes Frühstücksbuffet 5. Kostenloser Parkplatz. Vom Hotel ist alles fußläufig zu erreichen, sowohl der Bahnhof als auch das Stadtzentrum.

all'arrivo ho trovato cartello: " chiuso per lavori" e sulla casella di posta solo offerte vantaggiose per il mondo ma nessun riferimento a chi rivolgermi a merano....poi contattato un numero in carattere 6 sulla porta della struttura ho trovato camera presso struttura della stessa catena....

Siamo coscienti, che non era la migliore soluzione, però i spostamenti erano tanti e la tempistica ognitanto non ci consentiva di contattare ogni ospite in arrivo singolarmente. Il soggiorno all'Hotel Flora ha davvero superato le mie aspettative. L'albergo si trova in una posizione perfetta, centrale eppure tranquilla. Vi consiglio, se possibile, di chiedere una stanza all'ultimo piano: noi dal IV piano avevamo una vista stupenda sulle Dolomiti, da togliere il fiato. La stanza - una doppia superior - era spaziosa, pulita, ordinata, con tutto il necessario e qualche coccola sempre gradita (la bottiglia d'acqua di montagna, il bollitore con le tisane), ben riscaldata. Il bagno ampio e confortevole; una terrazza grandissima che in primavera e in estate invoglia a passare le serate a guardare le montagne. Il personale gentile e disponibile in tutto. E la colazione abbondante, varia, gustosa e con prodotti sempre freschissimi. Sia la hall sia la sala dove si fa la colazione sono molto curate, posti piacevoli in cui passare del tempo. Fuori c'è un piccolo giardino, con i giochi per i bambini e una sequoia "monumento naturale" stupenda, tutto curato nei dettagli, semplice e ben tenuto. Tornerò sicuramente all'hotel Flora, perché il soggiorno ha reso il viaggio a Merano davvero piacevole. Grazie! Alice

Doppelbetten mit „Besuchergraben“ und einzelnen Bettdecken sind wir uns nicht gewohnt und haben dies als störend empfunden. Sonst guter Service gepflegt und reichliches Frühstückbuffet.

Struttura molto carina, curate nei particolari. Le cose che ho gradito di più sono state la colazione, molto variegata e con prodotti di qualità, e la zona giochi bimbi al piano -1, molto grande e con tantissimi giochi; l’unica pecca dell’area giochi è che c’era un po’ freddino.
