Hotel was very good but the reception staff were at times unhelpful, ignored you and were quite abrupt. We would expect far better from a four star hotel. The bar and restaurant staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast time was a bit chaotic and everything was self service even tea and coffee which in our experience is not up to the standard of a four star hotel. Overall a very pleasant stay in a beautiful city.
Very useful location though on noisy road. Specifically asked for double bed but got twin beds held together inadequately so they constantly split! great that wifi is free and easy. Having stayed in very many hotels, this is perfectly ok but not 4*
This was an excellent stay, very warm and helpful reception.the hotel is near to all atractions and the under ground metro station is only two minutes walking. I recommend this hotel to every one who would like to enjoy Vienna with a very fair accomodation cost.
Easy to find, close to the city center. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet, nothing out of the ordinary, but quite pleasing nonetheless. The pension has everything you need for a good night's sleep and a pleasant stay.

A friendly, personal hotel. Very Austrian in character, rather old fashioned, but quite charming. In excellent situation for selection of transport to arrive quickly into central Vienna.
Rooms vary, all spacious, but some rather dark.
Good breakfasts in pleasant breakfast room.

We enjoyed our stay here.
We only has the standard room, but it was a very good sized room which was well furnished & kept immaculately clean.
The kitchen has all you need; there is a large fridge freezer, full sized oven, microwave & dish washer.
The shower room is lovely, and towels are changed every day.
We liked the location close to the Danube canal with plenty of good places to eat & drink very nearby.
It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the centre if you are happy to walk, otherwise the U Bahn station is just over the road.
Home to the Wirtschaftsuniversität, as well as the University of Vienna, Alsergrund also boasts the Sigmund Freud Museum — the area’s chief tourist attraction. Schubert’s modest birthplace lies at Nussdorferstrasse 54.
