Would not recommend staying here. It is a very old hotel with small rooms, dirty carpets, and uncomfortable beds.

The location is fantastic, and the property was very clean and felt safe. It was also inexpensive relative to other options. My room was absolutely enormous for the price. The pool and spa facilities listed on the Expedia page were not available during my stay. The wifi on the 4th floor simply does not work. I mentioned this to 2 different staff members who seemed to know about the issue, and unintersted in finding a solution.

This is a lovely hotel and we would gladly stay there again. However the hotel needs to warn arriving guests about the barrier and intercom preventing vehicle access to the dropoff zone.

Very cozy apartment-hotel, right on mountain river going through Chamonix, and with the view on glacier on Mont Blanc, Excellent location, short walk to anywhere.

Comfortable no frills hotel in excellent location
Location was fantastic - a two minute walk into the centre of Chamonix with all its restaurants and shops. Once we’d negotiated the parking bollards preventing people from driving into the centre of town, the on-site parking was free - a welcome change!! The hotel itself feels like a ski lodge, with lots of wood everywhere. The room was basic but comfortable - a little on the small side, but had everything we needed and a balcony. Pool is a small above ground pool - you can’t really swim in it. All in all, a fair hotel in a beautiful town.

Wonderful place to Stay
We loved our stay here. It was very central to Chamonix, the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and at a reasonable price. Our room had great views and even a balcony! We would stay here again.

The location is excellent. Right in the center of everything in Chamonix. It has a little grass backyard which was a very pleasant place to have a drink at the end of the day. Our room had a nice balcony, lined with flowers and looked right down at the river flowing by, with a partial view of the glaciers. The staff were also very pleasant. Very Nice. Highly recommend. T

Comfortable bed close to town centre
Room small but beds very comfortable. Despite winter rooms quite hot. Rooms were clean. Breakfast quite slow service with limited menu and slow to replenish cooked breakfast not ideal when trying to get out. Some staff quite grumpy as seemed to work a lot of shifts. Big bonus very central to town although can be a bit noisy.

Sorry to hear you have problem at brekafast as 99% of our customer say "amazing , huge, first quality Buffet ..." We have larger room also but you have choose the cheapest standard which is confortable as you say but ssmall ( enough for a short stay:!)

This property is great for staying in the center of town, Mountain View’s, and amazing staff. There are a few reviews stating that outside the property can be loud at night time. This is indeed true, but I think it would be true for all of Chamonix as it is a very young and lively town. You’ll hear partying no matter where you are as it is a very young and lively town - a result of a good Apres. Great place and would stay again.

Central location and helpful staff!
Convenient location on a quiet street very close to the centre. Nice to be able to park the car there before check-in and after check-out time. Very helpful staff at front desk who provided great information about hiking in the region. She was even able to loan us hiking sticks which are very useful.
