“Great Experience”

We use this hotel as our base when we visit our daughter @ Lehigh in Bethlehem. Great Staff, great breakfasts and great location.. I wish Marriott would get rid of the small "baby" pillows.. but otherwise a great room.. Flatscreen and large bathroom..

“Bethlaham Quality HOtel”

Right off freeway - only 12 miles from ABE airport; close to shopping and places to eat. Very clean well kept hotel - management was very professional and helpful.

“Competent New Hotel”

Room decor and design is nice, clean, IT friendly. Breakfast was great, home made waffles, eggs any style, yogurt, donuts, pastry, coffee, orange juice, bacon and lots more. Service personnel aimed to please. Desk clerks are OK, seemed young and inexperienced. Kind of convenient to Lehigh University. OK for a stay if visiting. Drive to school is a quick 15 minutes, 10 minutes to downtown Bethlehem.

“Great hotel. Will stay there again in any future visits.”

Great newer hotel. Comfortable beds and quiet rooms. Nice big screen TV,Centrally located by interstate highways for the ABE area. Many convenient major stores and restaurants within walking distance. Great staff. Room fridge was broken, and they offered another room immediately, but we stayed and they replaced the fridge the next morning (and they waited until AFTER we slept in). Reasonably priced and tasty hot breakfast. Great overall experience.

“Don't do it....you'll be sorry!”

Very disappointing. My husband and I were visiting Bethlehem, PA and we were impressed with reviews of this hotel. The room we were given was directly across from the elevator. Walls were paper thin for a Marriott- more like what one expects from a Motel 6. We were awoken both mornings at 6 am to the sounds of people talking outside of our room. Sounded like they were in the room with us. Kids running up and down the hall most of the night and at the "business center" had taken over all the computer terminals. So good luck if you're traveling for business and needed to actually use the printer. Well, at least it's a free breakfast, right? HAHAHA! Okay, we stayed over President's Day weekend and knew the breakfast ended at 10 am. We went down at 9:20 and they were already breaking it down. Many families still coming in. NO plates, bowls or cups. The waitress was clearly overwhelmed. Wanted to know if we wanted to take the food "to go" but had no containers to do so. Asked for juice- the family of 4 next to us got it. We asked again and 10 minutes later it arrived. My husband asked for hot tea- was given a mini kettle with tea but no cup?!?! I found the area where they gave free "coffee" to get him one. Check out- did they ask how our stay was. Nahh, the receptionist obviously couldn't care less. Sad hotel...very sad!

The town of Bethlehem is a very nice, "homey" place to wander.

“Very nice room; many dining choices nearby”

Courtyard by Marriott Bethlehem was a thoroughly satisfactory experience. The room was quite nice - we had a better TV in our room than we do at home - and the staff was attentive and friendly. Would not hesitate to return!

Downtown historic Bethlehem, near Moravian College has great shopping and food!

When to go

I recommend making plans to attend Celtic Classic in Bethlehem to anyone reading this review who has any interest in Irish, Scottish, Welsh or English culture, music, food or sport. The Classic takes place over the last weekend in September, offers free admission, reasonably-priced food and drink, many exhibits and vendors, great music, and a low-cost shuttle from a nearby parking area.

“Marriott Scores Again!”

What can I say...Marriott always seems to go the extra step! The entire staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms and lobby are tastefully decorated, the beds super-comfortable. The pool and hot-tub were great and kept open later than most. There is a great secure courtyard in the back with seating and a gazebo. Nice relaxing lounge off the lobby. Breakfast was great and at a really good price! Also, the hotel shares a shuttle bus with their sister facility located downtown. It'll take you to some nearby attractions. No complaints at all--not even constructive criticism!

Historic Downtown Bethlehem has a lot of shops and great old architecture.

“The kind of bright star you want to see in Bethlehem!”

We arrived tired as most travelers do, but were instantly relaxed in our sparkling clean beautiful room with fluffy bedding. The hotel attendants were kind without being cheesy and fake! It was a very nice stay...

Area recommendations

The downtown areas around Lehigh University and Moravian College...the quaint shops and unique resturants make it a very memorable trip!
