Verde Venezia is about 5 mins drive from Venice Marco Polo airport. You can take Bus #45 and stop at Casino De Venezia, and it is about 10 to 15 min walk from there. To go to Venice you take the Bus #45 going back to the airport and catching Bus# 5 going straight to Venice bus station. From Verde Venezia to Venice is about 20-30 min. The location of the hotel is good given its close proximity to the airport and venice, but the hotel is secluded which could be good or bad depending on your point of view. There is nothing around Verde Venezia such as stores or restaurants. The closest establishment is the Casino. Breakfast was provided on our stay. They served us bread and 3 different kinds of spread. Also coffee and milk was provided and that's about it. They also serve dinner but we didnt try it. Internet does not work in Verde Venezia. Overall the hotel is ok if you just want to sleep there and explore venice.

We were using this hotel as a stop over for the night before joining our cruise.
As it is close to the airport means that it is very convenient to transfer to the cruise terminal by both bus or water bus.
Rico was very helpful even though are flight was delayed and we didn't arrive until midnight.

Rosa (owner) was most welcoming and went the extra mile to make our 3(1 & 2) nights stay most enjoyable.
We were welcomed on both early morning occasions provided with coffee whilst our room was being made ready.
On our last day a Sunday, Rosa invited my wife and me to join her family and friends on a boat trip from the hotel to Sant'Erasamo & Burano.

This was a nice place to stay. It's a 'relais', and also 'agriturismo', ie it's set in pleasant countryside within a working farm. You can walk round the grounds and see the animals, and many of the items in the breakfast buffet are homemade on the farm - butter, eggs, jam, even honey. The downside is that this really isn't a full-on hotel. The reception is only staffed for a few hours a day, there's no room service, the restaurant (which looks great on their website) is only open on Sundays, and use of the 'wellness centre' (pool, jacuzzi, gym) is not included in the room charge. Instead, it will cost you 30 euros per person per day. We used it as a base for going into Venice, Verona and up to the mountains at Belluno, which was fine, but we were a little disappointed at not being able to go for a quick swim in the mornings.

Great place. Small hotel, rooms were a plus! Dinner was a plus! Revised farm house. Notice picture in lobby. Shuttle transport top notch. Didn't do breakfast, but hubby was happy. I think it was my computer, but trouble getting on internet. I would stay again and again. Hope your stay is as good as mine was.

Easy check in and friendly helpful staff. Room was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Desk staff really helped us get the most out of our short stay, and provided useful information as well as a map of Venice. It's a short bus ride or drive into Piazza Roma from this hotel. They also have an airport shuttle. Very convenient to Venice airport. Breakfast was very good too! We had no complaints and would stay here again.
