Area is quiet but clean. Santa Fe is not a bustling town.
A historical town but not one to visit for its beauty. Had to stay here on our trip as it had the only vacancy in the area we could find.
As far as hotel goes, as of May 29, 2011, the hotel restaurant food was atrocious altho expensive. Really bland food. Better to go out for dinners.

Handy for 1 night stay near airport. Needs complete refurbish. Cigarette burns on sheets and carpet. Receptionist very helpful, especially with printing our boarding cards. Breakfast staff not as good. Overwhelmed by coach parties.

"Comfortable hotel, well located for travellers - Dine out in Granada"
Slightly disappointed as we were on holiday and staying 8 days. Hotel was clearly for passing through travellers and is much more geared up for Conferences, weddings, etc which seemed to take precidence whilst we were there.Swimming pool area is attractive but Pool not officially in use until 1/6 onwards. We had to ask for sunloungers and permission to use pool, although temp was 30+. Hotel is conveniently located for the Town ( 10 mins on Bus which runs every 15 mins from outside hotel). Don't expect views from Hotel - overlooks small industrial estate. Better to use restaurants in town - variety around the main Plazas, particularly Plaza de Rambla. Ensure you hire a car at airport - hotel is well situated for touring around and don't miss the Sierra Nevada, snow capped until the end of May - people skiing and kids tobogganing when we drove up there ( pretty cold at 95000 ft!

You get what you pay for - an okay deal if you're just looking for somewhere to sleep. The room was rather chilly and our sheets were damp, so it wasn't the most comfortable bed to sleep in. It's about a 15 minute cab ride from the Alhambra (30 euro each way). We really only chose this hotel because it was so cheap and they had free parking, but if I could do it again, I would just pay the extra money to stay in a hotel in the centre and pay for parking for those couple nights (I've read it's around 15 euro per night...which you pay in cab costs anyway if you stay at Las Terrazas).

We stayed only one night in this excellent hotel. The room was superb and the staff were incredibly helpful. Security is excellent - they even had a CCTV watching over our car overnight, the facilities were very modern and comfortable and even though the kitchen was closed the staff member at reception provided us with a very tasty pizza dinner. I highly recommend this hotel.
This hotel was a very pleasant surpirse. It is in an industrial park. It was a second choice. It was much above our expectations in cleanliness and condition. It is a multi generational family owned and run business. Once we learned what the popular and abundant family restarurants are all about, that hotel's in house morning bar food and coffee was tops. Evening buffet is adequate. The hotel's client base is about 75% business. The hotel meets that goups needs quite well. For the holiday traveler it is a no nonsense good buy. Visiting Granada and the Alhambra was a treat and a challange. The heart of old Granada is NOT auto friendly. Don't go there. If you are traveling by car stay on the outskirts of Granada or in the suburban communities. This hotel is just fine for that.
