ideal for an overnight stay when arriving late into airport.
Very helpful and pleasant staff - very good breakfast.
Chosen because of proximity to airport (approx 6pp metres) but PLEASE try to organise an easy walking route and give directions. So close and yet so far - it took us over an hour to navigate road systems and bridges to reach hotel - in view and yet so difficult to reach. Would think a large hotel chain like Holiday Inn could manage to promote it's location and organise access - many travellers appreciate an opportunity for fresh air and to stretch their legs after a plane journey - and don't want to either wait for a bus or pay over the odds for a tixi ride when the hotel is so tantalisingly close - Over to you Holiday Inn !

Everything was fantastic. The breakfast was beyond belief and the golf course & beach are gorgeous. The only two negatives...1 - it is so close to the airport that the planes are loud when you sit outside a (can't hear them inside) and.2- the taxi cost the min of 20 euros from the airport to the hotel even tho the hotel is very near airport. Everything else was great.

This hotel was a find!! we chose it as we were flying out the next day and it was near to the airport, it is in a strange area near a industrial site, but no noise, after checking in and getting our room, which was perfect.! and air conditioned, we found the pool in beautiful settings surrounded by lovely gardens, the hotel looks like a castle and has lovely stone work, they even have a vintage car collection. and we had a late flight out of Malaga and got our room till 18.00 for 20 euros, they also have an excellent restaurant, and the staff were very helpful, I would definitely stay again.
If you're looking for a clean basic room, with a pool, for a modest rate, near Malaga airport and you don't mind a fairly steep climb up the hill - this icould be for you. The bed was unyielding, our room was small, and at the top of the house - but the view was good.
Note - you can use the C1 local train that runs from Malaga MZ central station west through the Airport and on to Fuengirola - BUT get off at La Colina station - NOT Torremolinos station. Save your self 30 minutes walk.
