“Great value for money!”
Just stayed one night with some friends and our children. Amazing value, excellent facilities for kids.
“can't wait to go back-loved it”
excellent service, perfect rooms, perfect for families
“Great hotel!”
Overall very pleased with the hotel. We had a lovely big bedroom, bathroom and balcony. Food was great which was a relief as i'd read mixed reviews on that subject. Pool areas were pleasant, clean and well maintained. The hotel is a little way out from the centre of Benidorm but we were aware of that when we booked and I personally quite enjoyed a walk to the promenade in the evening. If you aren't much of a 'walker' there are plenty of bars and shops on the doorstep aswell as the Benidorm Palace and Aqualandia. There is also a bus which stops right outside the hotel and runs every 15 minutes into the centre. You can talso ake the same bus all the way into Altea which is very pretty and worth the 25 min journey. The only little niggle about the hotel was that it advertised iron and ironing board on request from reception, but after 4 requests there were still none available. I personally feel this is to make you pay for the laundry services. It cost a few euros for 3 shirts ironed which isn't too bad but will make sure I take my travel iron next time!!
“Benidorms secret fabulous hotel”
The Hotel Deloix I would say was a fantastic untested choice for our four night stay in Benidorm. This 4 star gem is situated just outside of the main town area but is within walking (about 25 minutes) from the beach and main pub / club district of the town. This is why it is so good, in that you can go and visit and then come away without having all the noise and general disturbance you would expect whin the towns hotels. The hotel has a restau breakfast and dinner freshly cooked not leftovers. The swimming pool is clean and well kept and there are ample sunbeds and no mad rush early am as there strict policy enforced by the hotel in respect of this hence why I think he pool is open from 1000 to 2000. The only bad things are centrally controlled air-con 1200 to 0100 and I would say it was not tat cold and the cleaners in the room could have just wiped down the bathroom a bit. But these are minor points and ones which do not take away the modern clean and fresh appearance this hotel has. It is very good indeed.
“Relaxing stay”
Good, friendly hotel which is family orientated with good facilities. Evening dining times a little late for some but food selection good. Had to pay extra to use the room safe, which was not mentioned in the review. Only two English TV channels but not really an issue. Quite a walk from the beach if you intend to use it but away from the roudy nightlife! Only criticism was the lack of any welcome / info pack in the room explaining hotel ammenities etc but other than that recommend to anyone.
“Hotel was fine, shame about the staff.”
We chose the Hotel Deloix following recommendations from friends. The hotel room, food and location was fine, however we found the reception staff to be most unhelpful. For this reason, we will not be returning to this hotel.
“Brilliant hotel for families”
What a fantastic hotel for families! 4 pools (one of which has small kids slides - cold but good fun!), good size outdoor kids play area and an indoor kids softplay and activities room. The staff are all very accepting of childrens (sometimes difficult) behaviour and take everything in their stride without any of the "looks" that you often get when staying with small kids in a hotel. The food is a free buffet style and has a good range of items available so even my fussy eaters ate. There is a supermarket within a short walk from the hotel although a bank (for a cash machine) is a bit further although still manageable even with small children. My only criticism is that the only TV channels in English are BBC News and Sky News, but my kids still managed to enjoy the cartoons even though they were in Spanish. Oh, don't forget your swimming caps as these are needed in all the pools.
“A pleasant family hotel.”
After travelling around the pacific for nine months - Australia, Fiji and New Zealand - I came back to Spain to see where I used to go on holiday as a kid! I chose to stay at Hotel Deloix simply because a couple on my travels had been there before and recommended the place to me. I had a relaxing seven night stay and laying by the pool without a care in the world. the food is nice but not exceptional and the staff are friendly, especially towards families. The pool is great and the facilities on offer is a welcome addition.
“Ok hotel but nothing special”
The hotel looks far better on the internet pictures then in person. Lobby is clean. They do a poor job on cleaning the room. The floors get washed and bathroom get washed but theres tons of dust all over cabinets. I don't recomend the dinner in the hotel. The breakfast was good but no variety. Same menu everyday. The dinner I found had hardly no variety and a lot of the food was not eatable. It's also the farthest hotel from the beach. Drinks and snacks at the hotel were very expensive. Pools were nothing special. I doubt I would stay at this hotel again.
“Benidorm Palace”
We booked this hotel for one night as we had tickets for a show at the Benidorm Palace. The hotel is very spacious and clean and the staff on reception welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Our tv didnt work and the bedding was only one cotton bedspread and a sheet, so we felt a bit chilly during the night. If you want to use the indoor pool you must purchase caps and plastic socks, a bit pricey for 4 of us and the water was on the cold side. Complaints aside though we did enjoy our stay and would stay again if the opportunity arose.
