Een gezellig strandhotel aan een mooie boulevard! Mooie ruime kamer met zeezicht voorzien van prima bed. Royaal ontbjjt en een prima restaurant. Daar komen we graag terug!

Hotel is in perfect position overlooking the beach

Pros: The excellent position.
Cons: This is a Spanish Hotel, could be more International. No indoor pool. It is a 3 star Hotel in facilities and service with an extra star for position
Location: Right on the beach with a lovely long promenade right round the bay, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.
That's the good point, we would give it 5 out of 5 for that. I traveled with my wife who is gluten and dairy free, we did state this when booking the Hotel but got no feedback on this point. We arrived on a late flight about 8.00 pm and rushed to get a meal in the Restaurant by 9.00 pm End of service was 9.30 pm and they were clearing up and getting ready for breakfast. It was a set meal and they knew nothing of my wife's gluten and dairy free diet, they did find her something to eat:- soup, they served her up what looked like weak stock, tasted and looked like warm water! next course was salad followed by plain grilled fish. The Service that evening was appalling, plates and cutlery were just thrown on the table, sadly our waiter was more like Manuel in Fawlty Towers than a 4 star service. We ate in the Restaurant 3 times in all because of the difficulties and our lack of knowledge re eating in the resort and they had no gluten free bread or soya milk and no suggestions during our stay. The service was slightly better with other waiters but not 4 star. Otherwise our stay was pleasant.

Ok hotel with excellent position.

Pros: The hotel position was very good and bar facilities and service was very good.
Cons: Supply tea and coffee amenities in the room. Improve on the service in the dining room.
Location: Very good position on the front with restraunts and bars close by.
We thought that the hotel having a 4star rating should at least provide tea and coffee families in the room. Breakfast was very good but the evening meals were not that good and the service was also lacking. They also did not cater for gluten free diets as we were informed before booking.

Hotel was ok, I wouldn't go there again, the breakfasts were average, coffee machines broken or dispensing tepid coffee, drinks were expensive and staff weren't over helpful or friendly, the men who manned reception were terrible but there was a young woman on reception who was very good. It's not really a 4 star to be honest, maybe a 3 star maximum, however the location was very good, right in the beach walkable distance to all of the local amenities

Hotel front beach, but terrible back room

Pros: Good location, opposite the beach, flat screen television.
Cons: Room 111, and any similar rooms must be updated immediately.
Location: Benidorm is fantastic, the promenade is great. Live music everyday, clean beach.
Hotel Cimbel is opposite the beach in Benidorm, good communal area, good service. But, terrible single rooms at the back of the hotel ( city view), dirty disgusting carpet (room 111), very old and dirty chair, cold air draught from the window, rusty old bath. And very rusty radiator in the bath.

Pros: Feel of quality throughout and ideal location
Cons: Less self service at breakfast, having to collect cutlery, condiments etc yourself is not acceptable. Better choice of eggs at breakfast.
Location: Great location on levante beach and 5 mins walk from the 'heart' of the night life
Very nice hotel, oozes 4 star quality throughout although the restaurant lets it down. Strange hours, opening at 8am for breakfast is too late, 1.30 for lunch ??. Dinner at 7.30 is acceptable but 7pm would be better. Pool clean and well maintained.
