“Bali birthday treat”

We had a good two days although we had both picked up a 24 hr. bug before we got there and it sort of spoiled it fot us. The hotel itself was very good. Food superb, and the staff were all very helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and nice and warm for December, would definitely go back.

Area recommendations
The centre of Benidorm has more going on in it but then we only took two days out for a change.

“Good value for an excellent well positioned hotel with fantastic views.”

The Gran Hotel Bali is between Cala Poniente and Cala Finestrat in Benidorm, and it is easy to drive straight up to Terra Mitica from there. It has access to 2 excellent beaches within 5 minutes walk, and has fantastic entertainment. It has 2 restaurants and 2 cafeteria and we ate where the food is served buffet style, which suited us. There are 2 buildings, one of which is a very high tower, with fantastic views over Benidorm and down the coast in the other direction. We think it is good value for money and would not go anywhere else, though have only been on short visits there.

Area recommendations
Terra Mitica is an excellent Theme Park, within easy access of the hotel. There are always new rides and it is designed to show important sites from around the Mediterranean. There is the Colosseum, the Parthenon in Athens, the city of Alexandria, the villages of Spain and the islands, the Pyramids, and brilliant water rides and rollercoasters, as well as more gentle ones for young children and older people. Highly recommended !

“Tallest Hotel in Benidorm”

Impressive hotel with breath taking views. Lovely room on the 24th floor. Superb beds and air conditioning system Very dissapointed with the very average quality of the food in the restaurant despite being in Spain. The hotel let itself down terribly because of this; please take note and rectify. We were asked to pay for using the hotel gym????

“Turismo de todo a 100”

Desde el personal de recepción; maleducados y con pésima orientación al cliente, pasando por el desayuno (el peor que he tomado en un hotel, obviando el hecho que además -dice ser- de 4 estrellas), hasta tener que esperar hasta 15 minutos para poder coger un ascensor. Camas y el mobiliario de la habitación para desguazar directamente .... Si esta es la bandera insignia del turismo de Benidorm es como para echarse a temblar. Eso si, a pesar de este hotel hemos disfrutado de unos días de playa con buen tiempo.

Area recommendations
La playa de poniente en Septiembre es bastante recomendable.
