“Hotel Marinedda”
A week by the sea in the sun with great food. It can feel a bit like Butlin's at the buffet but the range, quality and quantity of the dinner buffet were really great. There is an alternative waiter restaurant but it isn't as much fun. Really good, friendly & helpful staff. We spent most days on the beach, sun beds under an umbrella, toasting gently and this was late September. If this is not what you want to do you would need a car but for 6/7 days the hotel has what you need, 2 pools with lots of free beds and umbrellas. Italian, French and German as well as English guests. We used the Hotel transfer to & from Olbia airport as it was the cheapest we could find. We would go again like a shot but had too many desserts and wonderful Sardinian wines all in the name of curiosity.
“A great hotel in a most attractive location.”
A first class hotel, well worthy of its 4S star rating. The food is excellent, even in the main buffet style restaurant, but with two other table service restaurants normally available. Regrettably one was closed during our stay due to inclement weather. The staff were particularly helpful, and all areas of the hotel were kept spotlessly clean. Isola Rossa is small with a couple of supermarkets, and a few bars and restaurants,but well worth the short walk over the headland. Whilst the hotel is a great place to chill out and soak up the Sardinian sun dont overlook the mountains a short drive inland and the town of Tempio Pausania
“A wonderful and beautiful Hotel with great service, food and amenities”
I would reccomend this hotel to couples with small children (10 and under) or just couples but not teenagers bc there aren't activities for them. We loved it and would return. The Manager, Alessandro was wonderful!
“Isola Rossa Hotel”
The Hotel Marinedda provided a relaxing escape. My boyfriend and I arrived in the second week of May so the hotel was quiet and the nearby beach was isolated. The hotel website gave an extremely accurate view of the grounds and restaurants so look at that. The staff were extremely friendly, our room was very clean and the whole place was peaceful. Food wise, the evening buffet was varied, tasty and plentiful though by the end of the week it was a relief to use the hotel table service restaurant at no extra cost. My only criticism is that because the hotel was not really near anything, the evenings did feel a little isolated at times, so if you prefer lively surroundings this place probably is not for you. Also, it is preferable to have a car to drive to the nearest restaurants and shops in the evening as the 10-15 minute walk is along a road with no sidewalk.
“this is a resort NOT a hotel”
They say they're a luxury hotel with a spa, but in fact it's a resort with families and elderly. Nothing wrong with that, but frustrating when travveling alone. The restaurants are in buffet form and from the 3 restaurants only one was available since the rest was ' booked' way in advance by people who stayed there a week or more.. Prizes ar as if they're equipped with every comfort, but it's all catered for mainstream groups, in the cheapest way possible, no individual choice can be made.
“Marinedda: il posto giusto per farsi coccolare e ricaricare le batterie”
Una settimana in hotel dal 29 maggio al 5 giugno. Il mare era ancora freddino e il tempo i primi giorni non era dei migliori: nuvole e tanto vento. Ma l'offerta di trattamenti benessere dell'albergo ci ha permesso comunuqe di trascorrere delle giornate piacevoli e rilassanti. L'equipe del centro benessere è davvero di buon livello! Spero che torneremo!
“Absolut empfehlenswert”
Das Hotel Marinedda liegt sehr ruhig in Isola Rossa. Wer also Action und Nachtleben sucht, ist hier falsch. Dafür bietet das Hotel aber eine wunderschöne Lage mit Blick aufs Meer, unmittelbare Strandnähe, eine gute Küche und sehr ansprechende Zimmer (bis auf die Matratzen, die sind zu hart). Sehr freundlicher und guter Service. Die Preise für Getränke etc. sind erwartungsgemäß relativ hoch, also unbedingt ein entsprechendes Budget einplanen oder im nahegelegenen Örtchen einkaufen gehen. Der Spa / Wellness-Bereich ist auch nicht gerade günstig, aber durchaus empfehlenswert. Ich würde das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
