Versátil Restaurant - Cane chairs, wood ceiling. Buffet dinner or a la carte selections nightly. In addition, buffet barbecue with stage show three times weekly in outdoor plaza.
Euforia Bar - Spacious bar/lounge and coffee shop serving soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, omelets for lunch and dinner, with additional Portuguese menu for dinner.
Pool Bar - Fort-like pool bar with rooftop sunning terrace open in summer.

“Will probably go back.”
The hotel is in a good position, on the beach but very convenient for the marina and all other attractions. Friendly staff and excellent spa facilities.
“Excellent location”
The location, right on the beach and marina, lots of restaurants and things to do, take a boat trip, rocks & caves 15 euro each for 3 hours well worth it. would stay here again

The hotel was clean and comfortable, with very friendly staff. I would definitely stay there again.
“Very decent hotel”
The Vila Gale Ampalius is ideally located on the beach and a two minute walk from one end of the main harbour/marina area where all the bars and restaurants are located. the room I had was excellent with a magnificent view over both the beach and the marina area - panoramic in fact. All staff bar one were warm, friendly and helpful and the pool area was clean and had a good bar with reasonably priced food and drinks. Lots of people from Ireland and lots of people on golfing breaks made for a good atmosphere, Vilamooura is an extremely attractive location for a holiday with most places we eat in serving very high quality food. So many restaurants to choose from and very picturesque with all the boats etc. Will go again for a chill out weekideally May/early June or when we went - mid September. Recommended.
“Satisfactory”
We were glad to have booked nothing more than Bed & Breakfast, having experienced the buffet style arrangements for evening meal on our first night. Not impressive, but on the other hand breakfast throughout our stay was excellent, even though we felt the area for self service was ill-designed. This meant guests getting in each other's way very often. Plenty of excellent choice for eating at the Marina in Vilamourra in evenings, so the best of both worlds.
