“Lovely family hotel”
We had a great week thankyou, recommend Zoomarine!
“Will definitely go there again!”
The hotel and staff is very child-friendly and made my 2 year old son and me welcome. I can highly recommend this hotel for (single) parent families with children. We stayed there the first week of October and the hotel was fairly empty even though a few other families with children were there - it was lovely. The food is good, especially the American breakfast buffet in the morning. Alternatively, you can have your breakfast (continental then) per roomservice in your room - can recommend as well! They bake their own bread rolls, brioches and lovely croissants - must try! We ate at the evening buffet three times, very good as well, well worth it. There are a few good restaurants only about 5-10 min away down the hill, so I would recommend not to book half board but try these as well. I walked there with a 2,5 year old, no problem at all. We will definitely stay in this hotel again, can highly recommend!
“Will be going back”
An excellent hotel in a stunning location. Very good buffet breakfasts overlooking lovely part of the coast. Enjoyed the walk over the cliffs to the town beach.
“Amazing view”
Definately recommend this hotel. Amazing views over the cliffs and sea, clean rooms, large and varied breakfast, a few minutes from bars and restaurants, lovely pool area, use of spa, quiet hotel, friendly and helpful staff.
“Sunshine break”
Pleasant hotel and attentive staff. Local restaurants good but a long walk down a big hill, which seemed a lot bigger going up after a good meal and plenty of wine. Still I would reccomend the visit
“Second Visit - Anniversary”
Fantastic hotel in a great location. All the facilities you would want and need for a relaxing holiday away from the pressures at home. Staff cannot do enough for you, very polite and friendly. Service is excellent, buffet breakfast hot or cold with omellettes made to order. Could do with changing occasionally for variety. Swimming pool needs a little attention to the tiles. Same comment for the bathrooms - they are looking a little tired. However very clean with fresh towels daily and bedding changed regularly. Will definately be returning again and would recommend.
“"4th time at hotel!”
This is our fourth time at hotel. Had wonderful holiday in a lovely hotel. The staff very helpful and friendly. Beautiful location. The view from the verandah restaurant is amazing. The decor needs freshening a little but overall a fantastic hotel!
“Beautiful”
What can I say the hotel and it's location is idyllic. So much beauty in one area. The hotel was comfortable and clean. Recommend to all travellers. No complaints here.
“Good location, great staff, wonderful setting”
-Staff very friendly and helpful -Breakfast ok, usual buffet fare and nothing special. Had the buffet dinner once and that was very nice, with the sea view stunning in the evening. -Room was a good size, ended up with two twins rather than one queen bed but didn't bother to question this for our 4-night stay -5min walk to the edge of town where there's plenty of bars and restaurants -pool area is nice, can get busy but always loungers available and the sea is just yards away.
“Romantic getaway”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tivoly Carvoeiro, staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The view from the well kept grounds, was breath taking. Although somewhat dated the hotel offered a pleasant stay. It's in a quiet location 5 minutes walk from the centre of town which was perfect. There is plenty to do at the hotel and it's kiddie friendly. We would love to go back there in the future and would recommend this hotel to others.

Carvoeiro, Portugal: At the head of a long verdant valley the popular, pretty little resort of Carvoeiro opens onto a small golden cove. Steep cliffs dotted with traditional houses rise to either side while the surrounding area has been heavily developed with low-rise apartments. Fishing boats ferry holidaymakers to less busy picture-perfect coves at Benagil, Carvalho and Marinha. Adjacent, the curious eroded rock formations of Algar Seco are worth exploring.
