“There are problems”

The major problem whilst we were there was the consistently fluctuating power supply. This applied to the majority of the rooms in the hotel. Lights would frequently grow dim then brighten and there were many power cuts. Similarly heating the room using the air conditioner became difficult. This made relaxation impossible. When we arrived the extractor fan in the bathroom was not working. It took 3 days to fit a replacement. This meant that any showers taken in the first few days led to the room becoming damp for lengthy periods. The hotel was about 45 minutes walk from Luz, but a significant part did not have street lighting. As we had no torch we decided not to have an evening drink in the local bars. I certainly wouldn't risk driving the car under the influence. I'm sure that if the holiday had been later in the year the faults described would have seemed less important, The days would have been lighter and warmer. The hotel itself could be described as a 'gem' but only if it sorts out its electricity supply!

“Brilliant little apartment complex with friendly and helpful staff! Great value for the price.”

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The setting is gorgeous - pool view one side and mountains the other. The apartment was small but equipped well (although no oven) but it felt light and airy and was perfect for 2 people. Would suggest this complex if you like the peace and quiet but want to be a short drive/taxi ride to Luz or Lagos.

“Lovely peaceful location”

We booked this hotel because of it's close location to family we were visiting in Lagos. The village of Espiche is within easy walking distance for eating, but otherwise a car is essential, and you have to turn right at the second Espiche road sign and U-turn at these traffic lights to enter the road to the hotel as you cannot cross solid white lines on Portuguese roads. Although too cold to use when we were there, the pool is lovely and all rooms overlook it. Cannot comment on the dining facilities as we did not use them. Staff were extremely polite and helpful, with towels changed everyday.

Decisamente consigliabile, rapporto qualità prezzo elevato, ottima anche la cena a prezzo veramente basso. Unico piccolo neo:c'è stato un po' da faticare per trovarlo.

“Top Tipp für die Algarve”

Die kleine Anlage liegt sehr schön integriert in die Landschaft nördlich von Luz. Bei uns kam noch fantastisches Wetter in der Zeit Mitte Oktober dazu. Die Eigentümerfamilie gibt sich sehr viel Mühe mit der Pflege des Gartens. Die Appartments sind hübsch, zweckmäßig ausgestattet und ruhig, die Betten bequem. Der Pool ist groß und gibt der Anlage den besonderen Pfiff. Einziges kleines Handicap: Aus dem Warmwasserhahn gabs gelegentlich nur kaltes Wasser. Wir würden die Anlage sofort noch einmal buchen. Ein Mietwagen ist natürlich Pflicht.

“Wohlfühlhotel mit Super-Service in traumhafter Lage”

Das Hotel bietet eine hervorragende Ausstattung der Zimmer, die täglich sehr gewissenhaft gereinigt werden. Der Service ist sehr persönlich, Managerin Catia ist die gute Seele des Hauses und stets in allen Dingen ansprechbar. Der Pool ist sauber und für die Anlage vergleichsweise groß. Die Entfernung zu den vielen Stränden und Sehenswürdigkeiten der westlichen Algarve ist mit dem Auto gering. Wir planen einen weiteren Aufenthalt im nächsten Jahr.
