“Will definitely go back”

We were very impressed with the location, cleanliness and facilities. My wife and I had a one bedroom apartment which was like home from home. The kitchen had everything you needed. The lounge was large. Air conditioning throughout. The best part however was the spacious balacony overlooking the magnificent pool area. Often when you book into a hotel, you are greeted with hidden extras but not here. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The location is great. No more than 15min stroll to the old town of Lagos but the marina itself has many bars and restaurants to choose from. Overall this was one of the best value for money holidays we have had. My only criticism would be that our room seemed to be too far away from the wifi access point but there was a free to use computer in the bar area anyway.

“highly recommened”

After reading reviews of other holiday makers I booked this hotel and wasnt disappointed. Huge living area and bedroom and everything you needed was in the kitchen. spotlessly clean and nice decor. the room was cleaned every day and towels replaced. it is within walking distance of the town where there are plenty of places to eat. the only bad thing was having to pay to use the gym and indoor pool 10 euros., we paid for one day only because it rained every day we were there. Apart from this I would highly recommend staying here and I would definatly go back.

“Superb place to stay”

We loved this hotel, spacious stylish apartment with great view of the marina. 5 minute walk to the old city or just lounge by the pool.

“A memorable hotel and a memorable stay.”

We were looking for somewhere special to stay for our anniversary and the Marina Club met these requirements. The hotel is new and modern with very large rooms. We paid the extra for a pool and Marina view and I would recommend this. This was our second trip to Lagos and this hotel made our stay. The rooms are kept immicaulatly clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definatley be returning.

“Extremely pleasant discovery”

Most relaxing and comfortable 3 days spent during our 2 weeks Portugal trip! Clean, cozy, comfortably and stylish equipped, friendly and relaxing atmosphere - perfect for a family stay and for the ones who don't like big faceless hotels. The only shortcoming was a situation with internet - there was a computer in the bar with internet access but it didn't work during all 3 days of our stay and it seemed that nobody took care about it.

“Great hotel and great location, can't wait to go back”

The hotel was excellent, and the staff were extremely helpful. Room was very clean and spacious. Great location, 12mins walk into Lagos old town, 5mins to a large supermarket and 8-10mins to the beach. Pool was clean and well kept. Great holiday.

Getting there
If you are going to book the shuttle bus make sure that you arent having to wait for other flights. We had to wait 1.5hrs before we let the airport and then were the 4 or 5 to be dropped off. Would be quicker in a taxi

“Very good value”

The hotel was exactly what we wanted and October is an excellent time of year to go. It was a shame that it costs 10 Euro to use the indoor pool as that would be very useful if the weather turned. Having a kitchenette is a huge bonus, although apart from pots and pans you do need to bring much of the things needed with you. There is a decent supermarket 15 minutes away but you need to know where you are going. There are however a large number of restaurants in the town. The location is superb, an excellent town with 4km of sandy beach on one side and a series of sandy coves on the other. The hotel is just by the marina. The room was bright, modern and had lots of space. We stayed for a night in Faro afterwards - and that seemed like a shoe box in comparison.

“Good for kids if you like the beach”

The apartment was very nice, clean and spacious for a family of 2 adults +2 children. The apartment was equipped with kitchen and meals preparation in the room was possible. The supermarket was just 2 mins drive from the hotel. The hotel was conveniently located at Lagos marina and walk to town centre takes just 10 mins. Hotel had parking at no additional cost. The people at reception were friendly and knew English very well. The swimming pool was clean and generous in size.

“The place to stay in Lagos, Portugal”

We have just returned from our third stay in the Marina Club Hotel and as before cannot praise it enough. It's location is ideal with the town, beach, bus and rail stations all within ten minutes walk. Everyone of the staff in the hotel are friendly and very helpful and every aspect of the building, pool and all rooms are extremely clean. Cannot fault this hotel or any of it's staff in any way.

Traveller's tip
Pay that little extra for a pool and marina view, it's worth it
