“Wonderful beach-side hotel”
A lovely medium-sized hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, simple modern design, a surprisingly good restaurant, and a nice big pool with lots of room around so that it never seemed crowded. Best of all though is its proximity (2 mins walk) to some fantastic beaches with plenty of space and great little seafood restaurants.
“If you want to relax - this is the one!”
We wanted a couples hotel for our honeymoon to relax, enjoy good food in comfortable surroundings and this hotel certainly provided all of this and more! The staff were friendly, efficient and highly professional - a refreshing change to many hotels! If you want a chilled holiday in a contemporary hotel with good amenities and excellent staff, then this is the one for you! If you want to party or require a more family orientated holiday I would suggest looking elsewhere in the area.
“All in all a good holiday.”
Catia, the front of house was extremely helpful and it is mainly due to her knowledge of the area and little tips that we had such an enjoyable experience. We were offered a bottle of champagne on the house and nibbles on our first night which was lovely. The shuttle to Albufeira was helpful and make sure you book your taxi from the hotel reception as it is cheaper. Make sure you visit Albufeira's Fisherman's beach and Santa Eulalia. And hire a car and do a roadtrip to Sagres, Cabo de St vincente, Silves and the Vilamoura Casino. Only suggestion to the hotel would be to provide a kettle in the rooms. But it was a lovely holiday and Portugal is high on my lazy holidays list now.
“Lincoln”
Excellent hotel and location 5 mins to the beach - left lots of coves and to the right a long stretch to the next small town. 3 restaurants on the beach but do try the ones along the long stretch to the next town (4 mile beach walk). Staff attentive and massage excellent. Good food and an ideal place for a relaxing holiday. Albufira a15min drive away if you go for that Brits abroad thing!! First week in November still very hot and sunbathing weather. Make sure you pre-book taxi from airport as the hotel price can be expensive.
“I'll go back again”
great location with a nice little beach at the bottom of the hill. the pool is very relaxing and the rooms were great. Very stylish place to go to.
“A relaxing break with a hotel set in a great location”
I decided to book a 5 day, surprise treat for my girlfreind and I. I've never visited Portugal before but heard lots of good things from freinds who had. I found this hotel on trip advisor and it was rated #2 as best hotels in the Algarve. After reading the reviews I booked straight away. The hotel only had 40 rooms which appealed greatly to me. Upon arrival check in was smooth and quick, being greeted with tea and a cool towel to freshen up. The room was lovely, nice and modern and totally spotless! The hotel is only a walk down the road to the beach which I personally feel is one of the best kept beaches in Europe, it ws very clean and well maintained. We stayed at the end of April, start of May and I was hesitant as to what the weather would be like. In fact the weather was brilliant, the pool area of the hotel is lovely and as the hotel wasn't that busy we near enough had this to ourselves! We had to test the SPA so booked in for a 'his and her's' massage. I was a little scepticle after having other massages abroad and them not always living up to expectations, however, this was the real deal, I would definately recommend booking a massage. Overall this was a great break for us to forget about work etc. We'll be looking to head back next year!
“Spring break delight!”
Tranquil setting, short walk to beach, good size rooms, good faciilties and most importantly the staff were very friendly and the service was top quality.
“Rest & relaxation”
If you need a break to just switch off, this is the hotel for you. Lovely staff, quiet area, perfect for swimming (weather permitting), eating and being pampered in the spa. I've just been with my sister and we completely chilled for 3 days. not long enough really though, 5 would have been perfect.
“Excellent Hotel”
during our stay (which we seldom do at hotels) and thought the food was excellent. We also used the spa on the last day of the holiday and found it very relaxing. The location is lovely and quiet (a far cry from the larger resorts) and this is just what we were after. We hired a car so were able to drive around the Algarve and visit different towns etc. I would recommend hiring a car as it does give you a little freedom. All in all, an excellent hotel. Thank you. All in all, an excellent hotel. Thank you.
“Lovely hotel for R and R”
The beds are a bit hard and the pillows too soft, you can change the pillows but the ones you get are cushion size. There is a lack of storage too only 2 small drawers. But, overall it is very nice and near the beach. The staff are most helpful.

Albufeira, Portugal: The former little white fishing village of Albufeira, now densely developed beneath a sea of apartments and mid-rise blocks, is the regions most popular resort. The pretty Old Town is wall-to-wall restaurants and bars, though some local establishments and residential areas still remain. Its picture-postcard Fishermans Beach, with spectacular ochre cliffs and rock stacks, remains an iconic, albeit often very crowded, Algarve sight.
