“With reservations”

The hotel was clean, the staff friendly, but it was listed as 4 star and I think not. It was more in keeping with 3 stars, especially in the rooms with limited space and limited toiletries in the bathroom. Food was also basic and not very good. Price reflected what we got.

“Lovely, but not close to Vilamoura”

The Hotel was very good; clean, modern, spacious. Breakfast was a good choice of hot and cold. However the area of Quarteira, although near the wonderful seafront is a little down at heel and it was a good 45 minute walk to Vilamoura Mariina, quoted. Vilamoura was the destination sought.

Traveller's tip
If you love the beach, Quarteira is the place for you - the wonderful Atlantic is on the doorstep. If you want to be in Vilamoura though,stay somewhere closer to the Marina

“Lovely”

very close to the beach and can walk boardwalk in the evening, totally renovated with two swimming pools, saunas, exercise room, restaurant, bar, all immaculate and modern. rooms were spacious and clean, however, there seemed to a slightly musty smell upon entering the room, dissipating when windows were opened, great value for price with a very satisfying buffet

“Hotel QuarteiraSol excellent rapport qualité prix ...”

excellente prestations, tres calme, belle vue sur la mer avec un leger supplement !!!! petit dejeuner tres copieux .... L'hotel est tres bien situé a 150m de la plage, tous ce trouve a coté : supermarche, boutique, location voiture, gare des cars........ tres tres bon rapport qualité prix pour cette hotel 4* avec une deco tres moderne et baroque a la fois je le recommande fortement pour passer de bonnes vacances.... PS: personnel de l'accueil tres sympa et qui parle francais

la voiture de location reste le meilleur moyen de transport je vous conseille de reservé chez AUTORENT a l'aeroport excellent tarif !!!!! exemple : ford fiesta 2010 diesel 67€ pour 4 jours kms illimité, impossible de trouver moins cher .

“Goed hotel met gunstige ligging”

Wij hadden de indruk dat het hotel uit een gerenoveerd gedeelte (aubergine/paarse toren) en een niet gerenoveerd gedeelte (witte gebouwen) bestond. Gelukkig hadden wij een gerenoveerde kamer met balkon en zeezicht. De kamer was ruim en modern ingericht met o.a. een douche/toiletruimte, LCD-tv, grote wandschuifkast met kluisje en minibar. Het ontbijt zag er verzorgd uit en werd goed aangevuld. Het aanbod van de producten was wel elke dag hetzelfde. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het strand en de wandelboulevard liggen op 2 á 3 minuten lopen.

“avoid the low budget room”

we boooked the low budget room. HORRIBLE and dirty. we wanted to leave the night after and the upgraded our room to a suite in the new section for the same price. the suite was really nice and clean. the buffet is good. good coffee, fruits, bread. the pool is ok but nothing exciting. the district is not really nice but it is central so close to all the nice beaches. The beach in quarteira is not that nice. You need a car to go in Albufeire, Lagos, Portimao, etc.

Traveller's tip
need a car and avoid the low budget room in the old section of the hotel.
