The hotel offers 54 air-conditioned guestrooms in a 4-story, blue-and-white building. Decor features white walls and ceiling, terra-cotta tile floors, light-colored furniture with green wicker insets, prints of local scenes on walls, and brightly colored bedspreads. Rooms include direct-dial phones, safes, and TVs with satellite channels. Bathrooms contain pink marble floors. Electrical kettles heat water for instant coffee and tea.

All guests have the option of a complimentary American/English buffet breakfast served each morning in Jardin do Sol restaurant during the winter and in a central courtyard during the summer.

“Great location but beware”
The location of the hotel was great, practically on the beach and central for all restaurants and bars. However, at the side of the hotel was a taxi rank and the noise level from both the taxi drivers and customers was excessive disturbing sleep every night.
“Excellent”
I thoroughly recommend this hotel. It is cheap, extremely clean, and the staff very polite and helpful. Best of all it is right next to the beach.
“Carvoeiro Sol”
The Hotel is set in the main street and you can see the Coast and its within easy walking distance. The Hotel is good and the breakfast is very good. The staff are very friendly and I'd go back to Carvoeiro again.
“Top Lage mit zahlareichen Restaurants und Bars”
Nach vorne hin ist es sehr laut, da 4 Strassen direkt dorthin kreuzen. Die Lage ist günstig, alles kann man zu Fuß bewältigen. Die Bäder müßten dringend renoviert werden, der Duschkopf spritzt in mehrere Richtungen, die Wanne beschädigt. Die tägl. Reinigung bestand aus fegen, Betten machen und einmal über die sanitären Objekte mit einem Lappen. Der Fußboden im Bad wurde nicht gewischt und der Staub/die Haare von einer breiten Fuge in die andere gefegt! Das frühstück: der Kaffee schmekte künstlich, das heiße Wasser für Tee nicht heiß genug. Die Auswahl an Brot klein, die Warmhaltebehälter für Eier, Speck mit losen Stahdeckeln, die nicht markiert waren, d.h. jeder Gast mußte mehrmals die Deckel heben, um zu wissen, was drin war. Es war ein Geklappere, und hörte sich wie die Müllabfuhr jeden Tag an!! Der Fußboden im Frühstücksraum war nicht täglich gereinigt (und wenn überhaupt, nur gefegt. Man konnte die Brotkrümmel, usw noch morgens sehen. Es war kein Staubsauger im ganzen Hotel zu sehen, glaube ich. Rezeption sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Internetgebühren zu teuer.
“Hôtel Carvoeiro : situation idéale, rien d'autre !”
Cet Hôtel bénéficie d'un environnement tel qu'il pense ne rien devoir de plus à ses clients, ni sourire, ni cordialité, ni service basique (wi-fi inconnu), problèmes de plomberie (odeurs nauséabondes partout), qualité des lits médiocres (propreté ?), serviettes de bains déchirées... Ensemble vieillot sans charme, c'est dommage car c'est au départ une architecture intéressante, avec des installations basiques des années 60 à partir de laquelle on pourrait faire un hôtel très sympathique. Rapport qualité prix médiocre.
