“The worst in my life”
Hotel is old with small rooms and could not get even 2 stars. Stuff is unpleasent. Very loud music is running up to 4 a.m. The nightmare.
“Acceptable Hotel”
Hotel Avenida Praia is a perfect hotel for people wanting to be right on the doorstep of the main strip and beach in Praia Da Rocha. The hotel is simple and basic - nothing extravagant, but you get what you pay for, which is what we were expecting. It was always clean. The only downfall would be for people wanting a quiet location, as it can be very noisy of a nighttime right in the middle of a number of bars and opposite a discoteque. Cheap and cheerful.
“The loudest club on the planet”
The hotel is of a good standard but opposite the loudest club onthe planet which is on eveyr night. You can feel the bassline even with earplugs.. if you normally like to go to sleep at 6am it's the one for you
“Fantastic location, basic but good value for money”
Stayed here for one week in June with my sister, was pleased with the hotel. It is basic, but the location is brilliant. Literally on the beach front, took less than 10 minutes to get to the beach from our room. We were lucky to be on the 7th floor facing out over the sea which was brilliant. Hotel is right on the main strip which is busy, but the room was double-glazed so noise was not an issue. Staff were really helpful, they helped us sort out airport tranfer when we left with very little notice! Room was basic but fine, bathroom was large and very clean which was important. Breakfast wasn't great but not a massive issue. All in all, would recommend this hotel if you are looking for somewhere convenient, comfortable and basic, in an **excellent** location.
“Das Hotel Avenida Praia ist nicht luxuriös, aber sauber, sicher und sehr gut gelegen!”
Wer Sonne, Strand, blauen Himmel und das Nachtleben genießen möchte, ist in Praia da Rocha richtig! Familien mit kleinen Kindern oder Menschen mit leichtem Schlaf sollten nach Unterkünften schauen, die nicht direkt in der Avenida Tomas Cabreira liegen, da hier 7 mal pro Woche das Nachtleben pulsiert.
“Hotel in der Fußgängerzone”
Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Fußgängerzone vom Prai da Rocha. Zum Strand geht es lediglich eine Treppe herunter und schon ist man da. Die Zimmer sind klein und bescheiden und sind mit schallgeschützten Fenstern ausgestattet. Allerdings hilft dieses leider nicht in der Nacht, denn es befinden sich unzählige Kneipen und Discotheken in einer Umgebung von 0 - 50 Metern. Deswegen würde ich Zimmer nach hinten raus empfehlen, auch wenn dadurch der Blick aufs Meer verloren geht, aber man kann besser schlafen. Ansonsten kann man zu den Zimmerpreisen überhaupt nichts besseres finden. Doppelzimmer mit Balkon und Frühstück sowie freiem Internet in der Lobby.
“Un peu déçu”
Les chambres étaient très petites et décorées avec des meubles très anciens mais raisonnablement propres. Emplacement idéal car vraiment proche de la plage, pour clients très peu exigeants niveau confort et déco, ainsi que pour les gens aimant la fête: rue très animée (bars, boîtes de nuit) jusqu'à tard dans la nuit, voire tôt le matin (jusqu'à 4h), donc inapproprié pour se reposer paisiblement. Personnel d'accueil sympathique et polyglotte.
