This hotel is really special. From the moment your car is valet parked nothing is too much trouble for the staff. A luxurious hotel in a lovely part of the Algarve. All fittings and furnishings are of high quality; beds are very comfortable with excellent pillows and linen and the rainforest shower lives up to it's name.

We were a family of four that stayed for 10 nights. We found the hotel to be very new and very clean - it actually looked like the pictures on the website which is unusual! Staff were all lovely, helpful and spoke very good English. You get free wi-fi in the hotel foyer which is a bonus.
Our boys enjoyed the kids club which was very informal and they could join in with activities whenever they wanted to.
The only negative thing I would say about the hotel is that drinks were very expensive, soft drinks in particular (we bought some from a supermarket to keep our costs down a bit). However I would recommend the sangria - both the white and red were absolutely delicious!
Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to families.

this hotel is brilliant and we couldn't find a fault with it. The rooms are very spacious, bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast great , spa well worth a visit with daily specials at very reasonable rate. Staff very attentive and on the ball.
Outside area and pool are in tip top condition, this hotel is only open 4 years so everything is very modern. Our trip was also enhanced by wonderful weather. Will be back.!
Got a free upgrade to suite with terrace and private pool.
Hotel is beautifully decorated, tasteful modern style with a great garden.
Never feels crowded with lots of swimming-pools. It's an ideal location in front of the beach. Breakfast is included and it is very good.
One of the best hotels in my life and i have seen a few.
Our stay was short, as it was just overnight, but the hotel was located close to the tourist area so we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do; stroll through the market, shopping, restaurants, and ferry to the island beach.
Just had a fabulous week in Cascade Hotel. We didn't use the Spa facilities so can't comment on that, but the large outdoor pool was heated and very clean. We only booked a Standard Double and I was dubious and worried that maybe we should have upgraded, but we need not have worried as we were delighted with the room and its facilities. It was large, plenty of storage places and lovely bathroom with gorgeous L'occitane products.
After a horrendously long day getting to the hotel I was immediately relaxed on entering the hotel. Decor a little modern, and internal lighting in corridors a little too low for my personal taste but overall a nice feel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was spotless, as were the rooms. The breakfast was amazing, all the food on offer was mind boggling, all cooked/presented perfectly, any empty serving spaces were filled very quickly. The catering staff were brilliant! They certainly work hard for their wages... and were tipped accordingly at the end of our stay. The rooms were very clean, well maintained and functional. We had a three bed standard room (our teenage daughter came with us) The third bed was VERY hard, she could not get to sleep on it, so it was my husband's bed for most of the week. It was reported but I don't think anything could be done. I found the bathroom floors very slippery, we could have done with a non-slip mat in there. I was very greatful that we could choose a smoking room, I was able to indulge on the private terrace area attached to the room. The room service was good. The a la carte restaurant, spledid. Staff there were exceptional. The evening buffet was great for myself and my husband but my daughter struggled to find anything to her taste, we only dined there for one night (it was quite an expensive chicken nuggets and chips for my daugher) Overall I really enjoyed my stay, and would reccomend to all.
