As Cascatas Golf Resort & Spa offers 69 air-conditioned accommodations with CD players and DVD players. Rooms open to balconies. Accommodations offer separate sitting areas and include sofa beds. Beds feature premium bedding. LCD televisions come with satellite channels and pay movies. Accommodations at this 5-star aparthotel have kitchens with refrigerators, microwaves, cookware/dishes/utensils, and coffee/tea makers. Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations with jetted bathtubs and handheld showerheads. Bathrooms are also outfitted with bathrobes, slippers, and makeup/shaving mirrors.

“Check if all that is promised is available”
Just returned from staying for a week at As Cascatas. Had a nice stay and would return. No complaints about the staff at the resort, they were very helpful and polite. We were however denied access to the facilities at the Hilton especially the full breakfast menu, the gym, the indoor pool(heated), restaurant areas within the hilton, teenagers arcade, golf simulator, snooker room etc. This was due to the fact that the Hilton had a bulk group booking and was closed to the rest of the guests. This was very disappointing as we were not informed about this at any point in our booking prior to our arrival at the resort.
“Top Class Apartments!”
Although not owned by Hilton, these apartments are essentially an integral part of the 5* Hilton Hotel complex, only have their reception at the opposite end. Couldn't fault them. Spotlessly clean, reasonable breakfast (at the Hotel), very modern and furnished to a high standard. All towels and 5* toiletries included. Great sound insulation. Silent effective airco to all rooms. These apartments really are 5*, but note that the drinks and food are 5* prices too. Free shuttle to beach and marina.
“Lovely apartment, poor service”
The apartments are exactly as described. Very large, everything you could ask for. They are situated at the rear of the Hilton Hotel and have their own reception and pool area. The pool bar at the apartments was closed during May when we visited. We found the reception to be unhelpful. Breakfast in the Hilton restaurant was poor, often they had ran out of something and not refilled it. They had no english breakfast tea for 4 days and then the manager produced 2 tea bags from his pocket when I complained! Most waiters were miserable. Pool area is very nice but pools are not heated and very cold despite good weather.There was only the buffet restaurant open in the evening. We didn't eat there as the marina has much better choices and is more reasonably priced. Shuttle bus to marina/beach is good and regular. Beach a bit of a walk from the drop off but nice and not crowded. The main gripe is the lack of courteousness from staff and extortionate prices. A gin and tonic cost 10 euros. Lunch for 2 adults and 2 kids (burgers and chips) was 60 euros plus. The hotel cannot justify these prices. The 6 star Madinat in Dubai was cheaper and you are treated like royalty there.Also found there to be no wifi in the apartments only wired connection at 17 euros a day. All in all we liked vilamoura and the apartment but were not overwhelmed by the Hilton although the price we paid for the apartment was good value for money.
“Luxury Contemporary Apartments - planning another trip already with my family”
We were looking for an apartment as we have a 1 year old and needed a separate living area and cooking facilities. The apartment was very suitable for a crawling child and the balconies were safe. The adventure playground was brilliant, parents are able to go into the Paradise club playground and supervise under 4's. The apartment was fully serviced, it was great to have a maid come in and empty the dishwasher and clean the apartment. The decor is very contemporary, we loved it. The bathroom had a jacussi bath and our baby was even given his own bath robe. The only down side for us was that they ran out of high chairs and we only got one on the last night, thankfully we brought a cloth travel one which meant we weren't completely stuck. The local supermarket by the marina 'Jaffer' has everything you need. My one year old loved the Nestle baby milk and the jars of food. There is a bus to the beach but we didn't use it we drove - it is only 5 mins away. The complex has 6 pools. 2 baby paddling pools and an a covered pool which is heated, you can access this from outside so you can sunbather on your sunlounger and then wander to the pool, which was great for us, as we thought the main pools were too cold. The breakfast and evening meal buffets were superb. However, there is no room service so you need to cook if like us you didn't want to venture out once your child was asleep.
“Great for families”
The apartments were perfect for a break with our 18 month old daughter. Furnished to a very high standard, much like a London show flat. The staff were excellent and for the most part so was the food (we primarily used the buffet). The only downsides were that while you have access to the hotel facilities, getting into the business centre was difficult, there's no room service, and no pay per view movies. We had to leave dinner early one night, though, and the waiter followed us back to the room with our food on a tray so we couldn't really complain.
“Super apartamento”
Excelente hotel. Está ubicado en una zona residencial entre campos de golf y urbanizaciones privadas. Está dentro de un recinto cerrado compartiendo instalaciones con Hilton, pero con una recepcion más modesta y diferente a la entrada del hotel. El apartamento es muy completo, amplio y bien equipado. con varias terrazas, tranquilos, y cocina de lujo: electrodomesticos siemens, plasmas en cada habitacion, jacuzzi... vamos, para quedarse a vivir. El personal de recepcion es estupendo. Muy servicial. Desayuno correcto. Varidead la justa y calidad rozando el limite. Las piscinas están muy bien, como hay 5, no se llegan a masificar. El garaje está incluido en el precio, no así el wifi, que cuesta 7 euros la hora. Un disparate. La zona está regular, muy turistica, tipo Benalmadena o Puerto Banús. Merece la pena escaparse por pueblecitos tipo Avor, con más sabor portugués.
