“Comfortable room- weather permitting”

We stayed during a wind storm and unfortunately the garbage container was below our windows- constantly banging throughout the night. Otherwise the room was super. Also, if you order room service, stay away from what they call "pizza". We both were sick from what little we tasted.

“Overall pleasant, however...”

Overall a pleasant stay, however, I was disappointed that the desk staff could not direct me to the visitor center.

“It's okay”

The Holiday in was a convenient choice because I had an early flight out of ABQ. Typical corporate hotel, nothing extremely special or bad about them. Good room rates, comfy beds, decent rooms. The noise from the airport is minimal but if you are a light sleeper ask for a room on the north side away from the airport. That would give you a better view of ABQ at night anyway. The restaurant could use some help. I do expect a hot breakfast to be served hot.

“Good Enough”

A "good enough" place to stay. The room was clean and we were given an upgrade which was nice. The negative aspects were a broken light bulb in a bedside lamp (no reading in bed); the dining area was not open on one morning and the service in the dining area was lackluster plus portion size of the yogurt parfait was very small. These are minor concerns but did affect our impression.

“Unpleasant Customer Service at all angles”

reseved and purchased hotel online. Chose to pay a more for the complimentary breakfast. Checked into hotel, not greeted.Staff chatting together about personal things. Checked me in. we were going to need two pillows for the children to sleep on the couch/bed Ok,he came up a few minutes later with one firm pillow and said they had given alot of pillows out and they had no more at all. So, i slept with out a pillow.could they have not gone into a unrented room and gotten me a pillow? Didnt sleep well.once we got into our room i realized that i had not gotten any coupons for breakfast i paid for with reservations. I called the front and the gentleman looked up my accoung and said, "Oh yes, i see it right hear. He apologized and asked if i could go down to pickup the coupon. I went down and found myself talking to another individual who pulled up my acct. did not see that i had paid for that service and started questioning me and treated me like i was lying. Then the guy i had dealt with on the phone told her to please print the coupon out. She reluntantly did. Breakfast was even worse!! To to the restraunt at 9:50am. Breakfast ends at 10:30. My family and i walk up to the counter and the girl says, Ohj, let me see what time it is.. I politely said, its is not 10:30 yet. She tehn walked us to our talbe in a grouchy manner. we ordered. 10 minutes later, we were told they were out of iced tea and pancakes.. We changed our order... I got my plate and it was nothing that i ordered..

“Not quite what you would expect from Holiday Inn”

The hotel is in a cluster of buildings right off the highway exit going into Albuquerque airport, convenient for late night arrival/early morning departure. They provide shuttle service to the aiport. Parking is a bit tight, which is ironic considering that the place is in the middle of nowhere (surrounded by access roads, highway ramps, and other similar properties). The room was clean when I checked in, but had a musty smell. One of the towel racks was literally broken, with half of it lying on the floor. I did not complain about it, and the pieces remained in the exact same place on the floor every day. It turns out that I got a "senior/handicap" room, and I noticed that several other bathroom fixtures were almost pulled out of the drywall, probably by guests using them for support. The basics (bed, towels, coffee) were well taken care of every day. The building, furniture and fixtures must be relatively new but seem worn, probably because they were cheap to begin with. The staff is ok, not too enthusiastic but not passive-agressive either. I did not try the restaurant (breakfast not included) but from the looks of it I was better off at a decent chain eatery.

“Not Impressed”

This hotel was not built with soundproofing. We could every word our neighbors were saying, their alarm clock, etc. Our suite had a jetted tub that was very noisy and when our neighbors ran theirs our kitchen sink bubbled up! They never told us that we had to pay for our drinks at the free breakfast and then tried to charge us on the last day.

“Find another Hotel”

Hotel was very hot in both hallways and rooms. Had to run air conditioning in January to make the room cool enough to be comfortable at night. Air would come on then shut off once it reached the desired temperature. Then the room would heat up again and get stuffy then the air would kick back on,all night. Wall outlets were all covered by furniture making charging phones and computers difficult. Used a bathroom outlet for the phone charging. Internet outlet was easily accessible but it was in the middle of the wall, high above the desk and falling out of the wall. Wallpaper was old and dated and in need of repairs. Went down to get breakfast prior to going over to the airport and was told they don't serve breakfast till 730AM. This is supposedly an airport hotel where some people are traveling early. To start breakfast service at 730AM doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Stayed here due to an early morning flight. Next time I will stay elsewhere.

“Disappointing experience”

It's a fairly new hotel that is not being maintained very well. We had a two room family suite. Broken furniture. Broken TV remote. No linens or blankets for sofa bed on arrival. Uncomfortable bed and pillows. Exercise room was lame-the treadmills didn't work the first day, no towels, no water, no sanitary wipes for equipment wipe down. Hotel restaurant is little more than a table and chair seating area that sells a morning buffet (most hotels give this at no charge!) Overall, the bargain price wasn't a bargain at all.
