“All I needed”

Glad I checked recommendations as other Econo Lodge reported not so good. This one is all I needed. Cheap, clean everything worked, quiet, right next to interstate, pleanty of food services around. I would go back

“Everything was fine”

Check in was quick. Room was clean, housekeeping did a great job. We stayed for 3 nights and had no issues. There was not an alarm clock, but with our cell phone, it was not a problem. Location was sufficient - close enough to what we wanted, but away from the hustle. We did not notice any extra noise from the interstate. Check out was painless. Overall stay was great!

“THE CONVENIENCE OF LOCATION OF HOTEL WAS GREAT”

ALTHOUGH THE ROOMS WERE WHAT I EXPECTED, A THREE STAR HOTEL, I REALLY LIKED HOW CLOSE THE FREEWAY TO DOWNTOWN WAS. ALSO THERE WAS A GAS STATION AND A OUTSIDE MALL WITH A STARBUCKS, A MOVIE THEATRE, AN ALBERTSONS SUPERMARKET RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. THE ROOMS WERE A LITTLE OLDER BUT THEY WERE CLEAN AND THE HOTEL PEOPLE WERE VERY HELPFUL AND NICE. IN THE SAME COMPLEX THERE WAS A WAFFLE HOUSE THAT SERVED BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER. I HAD BREAKFAST THE FIRST MORNING AT THE WAFFLE HOUSE AND IT WAS GREAT. FOR ANYONE WHO IS STAYING AT THE ECONO LODGE OR JUST ANYONE LOOKING FOR SOME GOOD WAFFLES OR ANYTHING TO EAT, I WOULD RECOMMEND IT. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK EXPEDIA FOR ALL THERE HELP.

Hotel staff were extremely helpful. They were extremely aknowledgable about the area.

“Nice place to stay for the price.”

The room smelled clean and was well maintained. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I asked for extra pillows and room supplies, which were given immediately.

“Good Place in a Pinch”

Nice, clean place to stay when you need somewhere to go. Last minute funeral brought us here. Room was clean. Staff could have been a bit more friendly and helpful. Broken microwave at front desk. Everything you might need is in short walking distance.

“For showering and sleeping it's fine”

This hotel was fine for the basics of sleeping and showering. They do provide coffee, juices, cereal, toast and donuts until 9 am. One could clearly hear the I-40 traffic and the noisy neighbors in adjoining rooms. We stayed in a non-smoking room on the second floor and one could smell their smoke via the vents.

“Nicer than you'd think”

I have stayed here several times and while it is near a busy intersection, the rooms are generally quiet and clean. In the parking lot is a Waffle House so food is available 24 hours a day with a more colorful clientelle in the late night hours. Across the street is a supermarket, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Pizza Place and a movie theatre. Easy access to I-40 and a cheap alternative to other hotels. You get what you pay for, but this is a good value.

“Fine for a short trip”

Overall, our stay went well. I had some trouble when towels were replaced each day (they didn't leave the same amount each time). The showers were on the short side and I didn't have much water pressure, the others in the group said that they had far better water pressure than at most hotels. Seems to depend on the room.
