The Orada apartments were spacious, clean and very well equipped with Bosch appliances. We had 2 teenage children with us, who really enjoyed the large pool. The apartments themselves were huge, with plenty of storage space and a bathroom for each of the bedrooms. The kitchen was really well equipped and there was enough space in the fridge freezer to store food for breakfasts and lunches. It was quite a walk - a good 25 mins - into the center of the old town, but it was pleasant enough along the coast road and there were plenty of bars to stop and have a drink at along the way. Opposite the apartments, the Marina had some lovely cafes and was handy for the many water activities on offer in the area. We did the dolphin and caves experience and it was fantastic. Loved it!
Owner was very accommodating in ever way possible and would go out of his way to make you comfortable and your stay enjoyable. The only difficulty is that it is a little bit out of the way and the taxi drivers although most spoke good english didnt really know where it was ... but as long as you remember Caminho do Raposo they know exactly where it is. 6 euros for one trip to the strip. Very clean and very well looked after villa hotel... would stay again and would recommend it to anyone travelling away as a couple or as an individual.

Which time we arrive to the hotel was always someone on the reception asking us how was our day on the beach..these little things make the difference!!! The room was simple and clean. "A nice studio apartment as base to explore Algarve"
A simple studio flat, cleaned daily around 10:30 am. Clean towels and tea-towels. I used this flat as a base to explore the Algarve. I stayed November time and I rented a car. The hotel / flats are located on hill, but easy to reach driving, the hotel really short walk to Old Albufeira. Of course way back is uphill. The flat had a 3 ring electric hobs / Oven, microwave, pans, plates, cups, cutlery, sink and TV. I rented TV remote for 1 Euro a day + 10 Euro Deposit (returned on check-out). I did not use the swimming pool area as I was out most of time. But it looked tidy and cleaned when visited to have a coffee nearby Hotel restaurant. I cannot comment on food as I haven't eaten there as I was out most of the time. My deal was room only. I am very happy again: simple, tidy, clean and all in work order inside flat. Maybe because of off-season but I have always been able to park in front of entrance of my building.
We had a fab stay at the Rainha Leonor apartments. Carla and Jose were very welcoming and were very helpful throughout our stay. The rooms and pool area are basic but for what you pay for we had no complaints and the whole place was very clean and well maintained. We had a beautiful sea view from our balcony and would recommend requesting this if you stay here! The location is brilliant, 2 mins walk from the beach and 5 mins into old town where you can find an abundance of restaurants, bars, shops and entertainment. Would definitely consider staying again.
We had a lovely short break at this hotel at the end of September and the weather was still beautiful. It was in a lovely location with great views over the sea. It was just a short walk down to the closest beach which had the bluest water I have ever seen. The hotel was nice, the room was spacious and clean with a huge balcony. We ate in the restaurant each evening and although I can imagine if we had been there for over a week the food would probably have become a bit samey we really enjoyed our meals and the staff were really friendly plus there was entertainment every night. The outdoor pool was beautiful to sit and relax by and there was a games room and bar. We walked into the town which was quite a long walk but worth it. Disappointed that we had to pay extra to use the gym and for the safe but overall we loved our holiday and we are looking forward to going back!
