“Great hotel for the money”

We stayed here two nights when attending a graduation at Union college. The location was very convenient, near lots of restaurants. We had the hotel breakfast which cost about $11, but had plenty of options to choose from. The only bad thing that happened during our stay was that the toilet did not flush properly when we arrived. However, we called the front desk and it was fixed immediately. Overall, it was quiet and clean and I would recommend it as a good budget hotel option.

room was recently remodeled. Bed was very comfortable. Everything was new and clean. So close to Albany Airport. Perfect when arriving in Albany late.

My wife and I appreciate the closeness to the airport, the amenities of the facility, and the great food available in the lobby! The prices have been adjusted to help with the current economic problems too. We'll be back!

Staff friendly, helpful. Hotel clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a bit pricey, but very good. We would recommend this for proximity, convenience and hospitality!

Great service - clean and well appointed. Breakfast was an added fee, but food was very good and service was great. We'll be back!

“Surprised & Quite Pleased !!”

I was traveling with my 2 children to the Albany area while hosting a party for my sister who lived in the area. I was aprehensive because the price of the hotel was so low. I can say I was surprised at how lovely and modern the hotel was. Everything was updated and nice. The pool and fitness area, although small were adequate. Our room was comfy and cool even though it was a scorcher of a weekend. The air conditoning worked like a charm. Our check in took 2 minutes and we were in our room in no time. To top it all off we were treated the first night to complimetary red velvet cupcakes in the lobby. YUMM !!! I will be back in Albany next month and will be back at the HGI .
