“Great Breakfast”

Our room was very nice, the employees were great - helpful, courteous, & friendly. Breakfast was the best of its kind we have experienced. Very impressed.

The hotel staff were really nice and helpful. The pool was clean and there were fresh supply of fresh towels. The bedroom was clean and the hotel itself was convenient to the highway. Area attractions are near as well restaurants. I enjoyed the buildings in Albany which were really an architectural delight. There was also a beautiful church I think it was called Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (Gothic) where it has the most beautiful lifesize stations of the cross parking has minimal fee but free if there is a mass. The food selection was adequate. Microwaveable omelet, do it yourself Belgian waffle, cereal, fruits. I will definitely stay here again.

“Great place very basic”

This was a very convenient place for us being it was directly across from UAlbany. The staff was very pleasant and the hotel and rooms were very clean. The only draw back was that it was difficult to get food without the amenity of room service. As an alternative the front desk had take out menus which helped. All in all I would certainly recommend the hotel.

“Stopover in Albany”

Clean hotel. Nice to have the continental breakfast available before hitting the road. Convenient location/access to I-90. Exactly what we needed for a one night stay heading to upstate New York.

This hotel was conveniently located, the rooms were very nice, and the staff were outstanding, especially the breakfast staff. I will stay at this hotel again.

“Comfortable and clean hotel”

The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, and it was a comfortable stay. We didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it looked like everyone was having fun in there. You have to pass the pool to get to the elevators though, I thought that was an odd location, but overall it was fine. The hotel is across from SUNY Albany and very closeby is a strip mall with a TGIFridays and other stores and eateries, just ask the front desk for directions.

“Adequate for our needs”

The room worked fine for me, my husband our 3 kids, ages 5, 3 and 7 months. A clean port-a-crib was provided, plus a sheet for it (something I've rarely found in other places) and the sofabed worked great for the older kids. Staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was perfect - wished there had been more towels there! My husband and I found the bed very uncomfortable and slept poorly, however. And the complimentary breakfast was okay, though nothing special.

“Average Hotel”

This is a well located hotel for Albany University students and parents. Unless your trip is educational, there are better hotels located in other areas and less expensive. There's a shopping mall with flag stores and places to eat at 8 minutes by car.

“Staff score ten despite mediocre facility”

This Fairfield needs to be updated. Ceramic tile was chipped in the bathroom, veneer was peeling from the doors, and their were ants in the bathroom. Information about what to do in Albany was extremely lacking. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful but need a better facility to support their most positive efforts.
