“Not bad - certainly a good price for the location”

As other reviewers have stated, this hotel is a little old, but in good condition. The beds were a little stiff for my taste, but overall a perfectly adequate hotel. The restaurant was decent, but there are many options in the area. For the location, compared to others in the area, very well-priced.

“Fine for Business”

Small room (no actual closet), but working internet and nice staff makes this hotel suitable for a business trip.

“Served its purpose”

My wife and I got this hotel room for a trip to a friend's birthday party. The location was not bad, and there were a few nice shopping centers nearby to pass the time in the two days leading up to the party. Upon check-in we received a coupon for the restaurant/bar inside the restaurant. The wait for food and service were a bit excessive, but the food was alright. The sauna was not of use since the light was burned out. The condition of the room itself was fine. Bed could have been a little more comfortable, but overall the room served its purpose. We spent a bit more for the extra ammenities, which afterward seemed like a waste of money. Overall I'd consider this a decent hotel, but if you're looking for an improvement over cheaper locations, you might be better served spending a little less.

“Reasonable, convenient Washington hotel”

At first sight, the neighborhood may seem less than inviting, but I have stayed three times at this hotel, wandering freely through the neighborhood and have never felt the slightest insecurity. Close to the Capitol, the hotel is also a few blocks away from the Metro. The staff was friendly in spite of being extremely busy. A billing error was cheerfully corrected after my stay. I would not hesitate to return.

“Bathroom concerns”

Room was fine, but bathroom did not appear to have been cleaned thoroughly. There were many stray hairs on floor.

“Serves purpose!”

This was a great place to stay to meet our needs. We were just travelling through and needed a clean place, for a low price, with a good breakfast. It met all of those needs and was in a great location---next to 3 major highways (787, 87, and 90) and on one of the major roads in Albany for shopping and dining.

“Great Value”

This is the second time I've stayed in this hotel. It's a really good value if you do not need to be right downtown.

“Good enough”

The location of the hotel was convenient for our purposes. When we arrived there was no record of our reservation, but the staff was polite and did resolve the problem. They gave us water bottles and cookies. The staff we encountered were nice, helpful and got things done efficiently. The overall appearance of the lobby and halls was on the dingy side, but not unclean. Our room was not luxurious, but adequate, had a refrigerator. The included breakfast was a distinct bright spot- pleasant dining room, well run, nice selection of hot and cold foods, including fresh fruit. Good coffee, newspapers in lobby.

“Everything we expected”

Although our stay was during a midweek holiday, we found no lack of service or amenities. Accomodations were clean, pleasant, and adequate and the location was very convenient. This facility offers a relatively good deal for the price.

Excellent hotel while travelling from Ontario to New York City. Great buffet breakfast.
