“Wonderful Experience (keep in mind however...)”

My friend and I had an excellent experience at this hotel. The hotel facilities were definitely first class (even by American standards) on par with what you would find at a high end hotel. However a couple of things to be aware of: 1. The hotel is situated well off the main road. The drive in will definitely feel like you are driving into the jungle. The hotel is located at the VERY end of the trail (its not a road, so much as a one lane path). 2. There's not much in the surrounding area (restaurants, shops, etc). You'll have to drive into town if you want to do anything 3. The on-site restaurant is very good for Indian food (pricey by Indian standards, average big city price for a meal in the US). Western food leans heavily British (beans for breakfast, pan fried tomatoes). If your looking for an American style breakfast your SOL. 4. Air conditioning was either too cold or inefficient at knocking out the humidity. We played around with the settings but never could find a Goldilocks temperature.

“Best in Alleppey - Amazing view of Vemaband”

Fantastic hotel for all those looking for a relaxing weekend - superb view of the vembanad Lake- Take this hotel as an option only if you wish to stay in the hotel all day since travelling in and out of the hotel is a difficulty, Enjoy,relax and enjoy

“One of the most stunning views”

The resort is located on the edge of vembanad lake and offers an awesome view. We were fortunate to have a suite with 3 side view of lake and being at swimming pool deck layer the feel of being there was uncomaprable to anything i have seen earlier. Very friendly staff and always helping to make the stay a pleasure... Venu and Dino Thanks.... Excellent service, very good food (even if you choose to go for North Indian menu instead of Seafood, you wont be disappointed.. but better try seafood.. it is great) ... Its expensive (room rent as well as food) but definitely worth every penny... Access to resort is through a small lane, hence make sure you use google maps on your smartphone, else it could take a while to find the place.

“pretty good for southern india”

room was nice (not particularly clean, but that seems to be par for the course in southern india). VERY quiet - we essentially had run of the hotel which was good, pool and deck was lovely. If i had known how isolated the hotel was, however, I probably would not have chosen to stay there. It was a 15 minute taxi ride from the nearest (small) town adn twenty minutes from the beach. As a conseequence you had to eat in the very lonely hotel restaurant (food ok, not brilliant for the price) or not at all. The wait staff were absolutely wonderful however - shame the front of house and cleaning staff were surly, unhelpful and let the hotel down.

“Most Silent Hotel”

It was too silent in the hotel because there were only 3-5 people other than us in the hotel. We went there four people and I booked two rooms but unfortunately even I mentioned that I want 2 twin beds for each room, there were only 1 king size per each room. Thanks to hotel manager because he gave us 4 rooms to fix their mistake. Hotel is ok for Kerela.

“We loved the stay”

We were 3 ladies staying at this resort. Our experience was excellent here. The room was clean. All the rooms have the lake view, which I think is very enjoyable.Plus, the staff are very polite, and very friendly. The Citrus Cafe located in the resort was superb, super duper superb. A little on the expensive side, but worth it. For people with sweet tooth, please don't leave without trying their Fried Ice cream. I also liked the fact that the complimentary breakfast served was also of high quality and there were a variety of choices available: from English breakfast to North & South Indian breakfast. If you are planning to stay for a few days and want to relax, I think this is the ideal place. Some of the cons are: The gym is too tiny with only one elliptical cycle and one treadmill. Spa has only one table available so you have to book in advance for the service. Expedia has listed down several room amenities, of which many were not available such as hair dryer, slippers, sewing kit. Also, a bottle of mineral water with MRP of Rs. 15 costs Rs. 85 in the resort. So I think you should buy lots of water from outside.

“Excellent service”

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was a very pleasant experience. Staff are friendly and room service was ace. Food is a bit pricey but excellent buffet. Location is a bit remote so getting around can be tricky and you are at the mercy of the hotel cab service which isn't bad either. Strongly recommended for a getaway!!
