“Dirty and in need of a remodel.”
Hot water came and went. Internet spotty at best. Hilton's interactive tv is a joke. Room needed a coat of paint and the wallpaper was obviously replaced in sections, a little at a time. Chair and ottoman were about 2 years past due for replacement. Good location for me, that's the one positive thing I can report for this property.

We spent the week end in the Hilton Akron Fairlawn Hotel. It was to celebrate a wedding, it was simply marvelous, from every angle.! could not wish for better.
“Very unsatisfied”
very disappointed with the quality of the hotel. the loby was beautiful but the room was horrible. floors not swept, junk all over the bathroom. the maid even came before 8am to clean the room on a saturday. we will not be going back

I saw the reviews before my first trip to Akron & was a little nervous but this is a nice hotel. The rooms are updated & nice. The Wifi works well. The pools are wonderful - one indoor & one outdoor in a nice setting. My only problem was the workout facility was small but I imagine most mornings there's only 1-2 people there. There were a couple of weddings the weekend we went & 2 ladies were on the Elipse machines for 45 & 60 minutes. I should have asked them how long they were going to be when I got there to make sure they knew I was waiting, but I don't think there was any doubt. Maybe the management could put up a sign saying 30 minute when people are waiting. Great hotel - my kids & I loved it!

Far better than expected. Very new and contemporary. Pools were far too cold though!

This hotel is nicely renovated & the rooms are well-appointed. It was our second time staying here & both times the staff was very courteous & helpful. The mall across the street has a First Watch restaurant where we ate breakfast, which was yummy!

Great Hotel really big rooms and large bathrooms. The staff was really helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed the restaurant on site.
