“Basic accomodation when flying through GVA”

You would not go to this hotel as a destination, it is just the cheapest accomodation for travellers coming through GVA and needing to take the next flight out early in the morning. The French side is a lot cheaper than the Swiss side! However, there is no taxi on the French side to speak off, so you can take on from the Swiss side to the Median 23 SFR though! I walked the corridor with my small backpack doable but not really recommended, not much sidewalk and it is about 2 miles from terminal to hotel. So it is hard to get to and they do not have a shuttle per the clerk at the hotel desk. The room was not great but fine for one night. It is a bit run down but the linnens were clean. Just a place to get some shut eye.

very nice, clean, safe place my only complaint is that the internet access was REALLY REALLY expensive (both if you had your own computer or didn't) free airport shuttle close to the airport perfect if you're just looking for a place to stay on your way to the airport, like I was

“Budget Hotel, Good Location for Palexpo”

Having expected and been prepared for the worst, this hotel proved to be perfectly adequate for a short overnight stay whilst attending an event at the nearby Palexpo. Whilst the hotel is situated just across the border in France it is still very close to GVA Airport / Palexpo with only a short taxi ride required. The staff were very friendly and the accomodation itself was very basic but functional and great value.

We didn't get the nicest rooms and if I wanted to nit-pick I could come up with some things that weren't up to perfection. The employees of the hotel, Great! The rooms good and the prices good. I would go back if in the Geneva area again.

“Mixed opinions”

The hotel is nice, clean, price is not bad for being so close to Geneva. It is also close to a bus stop and the bus takes you to the main places. Quiet area although it's close Geneva airport. The town is nice but after 6:00pm is a ghost town, still some restaurants available. Breadfast not included in the room rate and for what I paid it could be better. Never had dinner in the hotel so no comments on that. No shuttle bus to/from airport during weekends and English is not their strength. Rooms are a bit small but still confortable.

“Cheaper than staying in Geneva”

That's about the main thing to recommend this hotel. We were spending one night in Geneva before meeting a friend who lives there, where we would be staying the next 4 nights. This hotel was the cheapest thing I could find in a city that can really break the budget, but that didn't have HORRIBLE reviews. It just had mediocre reviews instead. And yes, the hotel was run down and had seen better days. Bed really old. Location was in an odd nowheresland between the airport and a town, but it was right next to a Lidl grocery store (bought bottled water here) and a eatery (which we didn't try). Staff relatively helpful. Gave us bus directions to go into Geneva or back to the airport. Since we would be in Geneva the next 3 days anyway, we decided to skip the hassle of bussing/tramming into Geneva that night, and walked the other direction instead, about 20 minutes into the town of Ferney-Voltaire. Cute quaint little French town, with Voltaire's old estate to recommend it. Also enjoyed the local boucherie, the hotel restaurant in town (great food!) and they had a little movie theater to boot. We were glad we decided to pop into town. P.S. Being in France, the local bus transportation was spotty at best. Leave very early to get to the airport (which looks about 5 minutes away on the map), but in reality could be 1 hour+ away if the bus decides not to show. Apparently, taxis are hesitant to pick-up/drop-off because the distance is SO close, it's not worth their time.

“Airport Convenience without Frills”

No frills hotel with friendly service, small clean room, no-hassle surface parking, safe neighborhood, and efficient check-in / check-out. Geneva - Cointrin airport is a stone's throw away. Gas station road to airport to fill rental car tanks. The place to go if you need to fly out of Geneva and want to avoid traffic delays.

“This hotel was OK, but in the Future I will choose another hotel”

This hotel, was in general OK, is just 5 minutes from the Geneva airport in the French border. Although the room was clean, the hotel feels old. You can hear the sound of the airplanes arriving to the airport during all night. The breakfast was limited and, in my case, I needed to pay an extra money for it. I have been in better places for less.
