We had a wonderful time here. Janeth and Melina were super hosts. They were both very kind. They went out of there way to make us feel at home. This was a very unique hotel furnished with antiques which I throughly loved. Rooms were comfortable. Air conditioning superb. Hot water in the shower. They provided body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast was served. I would highly recommend La Casa de Mamapán. / Nos lo pasamos de maravilla aquí. Janeth y Melina fueron súper anfitrionas. Ambos fueron muy amables. Hicieron todo lo posible para hacernos sentir como en casa. Éste era un hotel único amueblado con antigüedades que me encantaron. Las habitaciones eran cómodas. Aire acondicionado magnífico. Agua caliente en la ducha. Proporcionaron gel de baño, champú y acondicionador. Se sirvió el desayuno. Recomiendo ampliamente La Casa de Mamapán.

Quaint hotel in the center of Ahuachapan
The hotel was a bit dated, and the rooms were small, but the hotel was quaint. Breakfast was good, and the service was great.

Excellent location in the center of Ahuachipan. It's a great take-off or landing point for the Ruta de las Flores. The hotel is clean, with good wi-fi and near many restaurants.

Expensive for what you get
Extremely expensive for very basic (though clean) accommodation. The room had no windows and was only dimly lit. The town had almost nowhere to eat (and the hotel restaurant didn't seem to be open for us as we didn't reserve in advance).

Mamapan is an outstanding place to stay, close important cultural and commercial places. Staff did wonderfully to make my staying comfortable.

Cozy and cute "hotel" kind staff.
Check in was easy. Construction work in lobby ruined the experience. Rooms are smal but clean. Breakfast included was good. Cafè El Imposible next door was the highlight. Wifi was also a thumbs up. Slow but good.

Wifi goes in and out, breakfast in only watermelon and toast with juice and staff doesn't speak English, only Spanish. If you can speak a little Spanish then it's ok.

older quaint Hacienda style
The property has many positives, town centre next to church and square, busy quite picturesque and perfectly safe to stroll around the block. Building is old so rooms generally look inwards to shared internal lounge or courtyard. Some rooms small, no external window but all clean and reasonably comfortable. TV, con, WiFi, no fridge or tea coffee facility. Shower was not warm. Breakfast similarly basic, tipico local or fruit, toast coffee and juice. Staff friendly and helpful but only speak Spanish. We don't but it wasn't an issue. Local bar and restaurant friendly, as were all people in El Salvador. Would we stay here again?, yes, and not just because its well priced.

Cold water never get fix in 3 days.. Door closed at 10:30pm dificult to get out after....easy parking acess and nice staff....great for the price.....noisy in the morning with the trafic...not the best in Ahuachapan .....

La propiedad es muy bonita, las instalaciones de una casa antigua, las camas algo duras pero aun asi tienen lo basico. Lo que deberia de ser claro es que no hay parqueo, el parqueo es la calle. El desayuno es muy basico pudiendo ser algo sabroso y generoso, en nuestro caso nos salio un cabello en el huevo que lo hizo aun menos atractivo y ya no se comio. Son cosas que deben mejorar.

Buenos días y muchas gracias Marco!En todas nuestras plataformas dice que no contamos.con parqueo en nuestras instalaciones porque estamos ubicados en el Centro Histórico. Hay diferentes opciones de parqueo externo pagado pero se deben de hacer con previa reservación. Hemos compartido sus comentarios con nuestros colaboradores , prometemos compensarle en su próximo viaje y mil disculpas ya que nunca nos había sucedido esto .Miles de gracias y bendecida Semana Santa!

This is a nice place for vacation
Generally, its a nice place for family stay. We stay 1 night during Easter Weekend and everythings goes well. The service is good, food is aceptable, the hotel is clean, the only thing I want to say is the parking area is a little bit far away from the hotel (3 blocks) But I still want to go again in the future.

La ubicación, la atención, las ideas de dónde ir, todo resultó muy pero muy bien, De todas maneras lo recomiendo. y desde alli a Concepcion de Ataco el paseo fue precioso.

Emplacement très agréable
Propriétaires très gentils. Hôtel en cours d'agrandissement. Excellent café et excellent petit-déjeuner. Contrairement à ce qui est indiqué, il n'y a pas de restaurant ni de parking privé. Le stationnement est quand-même facile sur la rue autour du parc. Hôtel bien situé au coeur de Ahuachapan.
