“Steigenberger - der Name verspricht mehr”

Das Hotelgebäude ist sehr imposant, allerdings hatte ich mir von dem Namen Steigenberger mehr erhofft. Insbesondere die Zimmer waren eher altmodisch eingerichtet und die Betten viel zu weich. Die Bettlaken waren auch nicht ganz frei von Haaren des oder der Vorgänger. Die Angestellten an der Lobby waren zwar sehr freundlich, konnten aber nicht immer weiterhelfen, so wurde uns auf unsere Frage nach einem guten Restaurant lediglich geraten, einfach mal die Hauptstraße rauf und runter zu laufen, dann fänden wir schon etwas. Alles in allem werde ich nicht mehr dorthin zurückkommen, weil meines Erachtens das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht stimmt.

“Das Hotel liegt zentral direkt am Kasino und der Therme.”

Tolles Hotel! Sehr freundlicher Empfang, sehr hilfsbereit mit dem Gepäck. Großes Zimmer, sehr geschmackvolles Bad und sehr viel Platz für Gepäck und Kleidung. Können dieses Haus nur empfehlen. Haben uns ein freies Wochenende von unserem Kindern genommen und dafür war das Hotel ideal. Mit Kindern würde ich das Haus nicht empfehlen, da das Publikum doch eher älter ist. Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen und es gibt in der Nähe viele Restaurants jeglicher Geschmacksrichtung.

Area recommendations

Eine Fahrt mit dem Expresszug (Abfahrt direkt vor dem Hotel) nach Ahrweiler lohnt sich, da die Stadt schöner ist als Bad Neuenahr. Stadtmauer, schöne alte Häuser und Fassaden.

“Nicht beeindruckt”

Saubers aber extrem kleines Einzelzimmer. Nur ein Lift. Wenig effiziente Rezeption.

Sehr Central gelegenes Hotel, man kann zu Fuß alles erreichen. Z.B. bei den Deutschen Tennismeisterschaften der Senioren.
