“Value for Money”

Had a comfortable stay. It was "Value for Money". Food was great.

“I would recommend this hotel as an option but it is not a great hotel.”

The hotel's lounge was full of mosquitoes and it was surprising to me that they couldn't control that using some sprays. I had to wait for an hour to get my room despite making a phone call to them earlier and asking for a room since I was coming from a long journey. The rooms were small and the bath rooms were so so.

The dining rooms are nicer and the food was actually good. It is worth for the money.

“Wouldn't mind going again”

The hotel was nice. We were put on the 6th.flr facing the Sabarmati river. The hotel is situated in the older part of Ahmedavad. The only problem we had was that the bath was leaking. They had tried to repair it but when my wife went for a shower she thought she was going go through the hole. We were later on told that they are in the process of changing it.

“Good hotel, poor location”

The hotel is a good quality 3/4 star affair with attentive but discrete service for the business man. I can't fault the hotel at all and the staff are capable and helpful. The location however is poor, positioned next to the old town with no local amenities to speak of and next to extensive slum dwellings. No local cafes, shops or other distractions. If you want a quiet room to return to in the evening then this place will suit you. If you want something to do in the evening, you may be better off across the river in the new commercial (noisier) district. (You cannot see the river anymore as the local council have built a wall screening it from sight.)

Traveller's tip

Don't forget the state is a dry one. Let the hotel sort things out for you if you are a non Indian and want to buy alchohol.

“excellent hôtel avec un restaurant de qualité”

hôtel moderne situé dans la vieille ville , chambre très confortable , propre , un restaurant de qualité avec buffet au petit déjeuner, midi et soir , tout est succulent , très apprécié aussi par les Indiens , ce qui en fait aussi une référence. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent

Area recommendations

faire un circuit dans le GUJARAT est sans contexte une connaissance approfondie de la vie indienne telle qu'elle est dans la plupart des villes non touristiques , la vielle ville d' ahmedabad vaut vraiment le détour par son bazar ses ruelles étroites et son activité
