“Only book if you have a car, this hotel is NOT in Agrigento”

Great hotel amenities, picturesque pool, stylish room, great shower, but inconvienent location. NO public transport, nowhere to walk, no shuttles anywhere. We were briskly told you have to get a taxi to get anywhere minimum 20 EUROS. Limited to the hotel we had no choice but to eat the hotel food (same limited menu for both lunch and dinner, NO pizza?). Wifi stopped working, staff not interested. Batteries in the remote dead, staff not interested. Poor customer service and location let this hotel down.

“Very disapointed”

Done other Best Western hotels in Europe and all have been great. Unfortunately this one is the exeption. Staff is not very friendly, hotel is very dated and not well maintained. Bathrooms are horrible.Hotel was very well built but currently is very much neglected. Not recemended.

“OK Hotel”

The Hotel is OK, staff are nice, the location is good if you want to go to the temples. Agrigento itself is not a very nice city, but the temples are speechless. I would recommend have dinner at the hotel close to the temples - VILLA ATHENA HOTEL, you will have an amazing experience.

Area recommendations
I would recommend the Temples. It really is a great opportunity to be close to history... more then 2.000 years. Reserve a dinner at VILLA ATHENA HOTEL, in front of the temples. After that go to Taurmina, very cosy place in a very nice area.
Getting around
The city of Agrigento itself there is nothing to do... really spend your time at the temples, and at the beach.

“Wow.”

Brilliant views and very well appointed and comfortable rooms. Shower and Bathroom were great. Breakfast was pretty good. the pool was magnificent. Check out the pool guy. Resturaunt was very good & resonably priced You do need a car to get to the hotel & around the area

“Agrigento's best hotel for a romantic getaway”

The hotel lobby and bar area was very beautifully decorated in a modern theme. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view from the seaview room was spectacular! The rooms were very clean and the shower was the best shower I've ever been in at a hotel. The food was amazing and everything was reasonably priced. The pool was a beach theme and the staff by the pool were very helpful in getting what we needed so we didn't have to keep going inside. Overall this is the best hotel I've stayed at in Sicily and I highyly reccomend it especially for couple's who want a romantic getaway!

“We will go back again”

We were visiting the area to attend a wedding in Agrigento, we found the hotel to be very pleasant with excellent facilities for sports including a beautiful swimming pool. The rooms were very comfortable and we had an excellent view of the pool and the sea beyond. The food was good and the staff in the dining room and reception were excellent. I would certainly recommend this hotel

Don't miss the valley of the temples whilst in the area they are only a couple of kilometers from the hotel.

“Order in Kaos”

This is a well-run and attractive hotel close to the Valley of the Temples. The staff are helpful, the rooms nicely decorated and clean, the beds excellent. There is a lovely view of the Mediterranean off Agrigento. The one slight weakness is the restaurant, whose breakfasts are very good but whose lunches and dinners are rather mediocre. Eat out in the San Leone district.

“Das Hotel ist für einen Abstecher bei einer Rundreise sehr zu empfehlen”

Für eine Rundreise bei 1-2 Tagen Aufenthalt sehr gut geeignet, da es viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe gibt. Bei längerem Aufenthalt nicht so gut, da es dann eher langweilig ist. Der Pool ist grandios. Zum Essen sollte man woanders hingehen.

Ende Oktober ist es nicht heiß und trotzdem noch angenehm
