“Bella l'architettura dell'hotel, sfortunata posizione per chi viaggia senza mezzi.”

All' Hotel Akrabello, sono stati tutti molto accoglienti ed ospitali, pulizia fatta regolarmente ogni giorno, in una settimana hanno persino cambiato le lenzuola per 3 volte. Purtroppo l'Hotel non vanta di una posizione geografica magnifica in quanto Villaggio Mosè si trova a 6 km dal centro di Agrigento (4 km dalla valle dei Templi) e a circa 6 Km dal mare. In più l'hotel è affacciato su una delle strade di massimo scorrimento di traffico della Sicilia,le auto viaggiavano a velocità elevata e suonano il clacson a qualsiasi ora del giorno. Noi che eravamo senza mezzo di trasporto, abbiamo dovuto adeguarci ai trasporti delle linee urbane della città. Sfortunatamente i pullman non rispettavano orari o non passavano dalla fermata... il più delle volte abbiamo dovuto muoverci a piedi. Perché , quando abbiamo richiesto il servizio navetta (che nelle opzioni dell'hotel sarebbe dovuto essere incluso e gratuito) ci hanno risposto che chi non aveva la "pensione completa" non poteva usufruire del trasporto dall' hotel al mare. Ci è sembrata una presa in giro, per il fatto che non ci hanno garantito un servizio che per noi, ma per chiunque altro volesse andare al mare, era fondamentale vista la scomoda locazione dell'albergo... Saremmo stati disposti a pagare anche una cifra forfettaria in più per il trasporto, ma non ci è stato concesso. Per il resto, l'hotel ha svolto regolarmente tutte le sue funzioni.E il relax a bordo piscina è stato ottimo!!

Area recommendations
Consiglio la Visita alla Valle dei Templi, di giorno e di notte. C'è tutto lo spettacolo dell'antica Grecia anche in Italia!!! Il parco archeologico è tenuto in ottime condizioni, ordinato dal punto di vista naturale, e ben conservati e restaurati i templi. Il paesaggio visto dall'alto del tempio di Giunone da la stessa impressione che provarono i greci al momento della fondazione dell'antica Akragas: " da li si domina il mondo, si vigila il mare e si controlla la terraferma"... Stupendo!!! Altro posto che consiglio per chi invece ama il mare e di arrivare fino a Porto Empedocle e seguire le indicazioni per Scala dei Turchi, un imponente scogliera di calcare bianco che domina sul turchese del mare!

CON MEZZI PUBBLICI Dall' Aeroporto di Palermo: Ci sono Bus navetta comodissimi, costo 11.50 € che ti portano dall'aeroporto ad Agrigento centro. tempo di percorrenza 1 ora e 40 minuti. la line da prendere si chiama SAL. È possibile arrivar ad Agrigento anche con il treno, ma in questo periodo dell'anno stanno lavorando sul tratto di ferrovia da Palermo punta raisi a palermo centrale ( da dove parte il diretto per Agrigento). Quindi conviene forse per chi comunque volesse viaggiare in treno, prendere il pulman navetta da aeroporto a palermo centro e poi da li il treno per Agrigento ( ricordo che fa strada in più il treno perchè la linea ferroviaria arriva prima a Termini Imerese e poi taglia verso sud. DA AGRIGENTO. Servizio Pulman Linee 1-2-3 per San Leone , Villaggio Mosé, Valle dei Templi partono tutte dalla Stazione in via della Vittoria Da Agrigento Centro

Per chi visita pantaloncini e maglietta sono obbligatori. attenzione a non scottarsi, spalle coperte e cappellino. Maglioncino leggero perché di sera l'arietta è fresca!
Shopping
per i Souvenir il centro di Agrigento ha molti negozietti tipici: da quello dei Sapori Siciliani a Quello delle ceramiche. Percorrendo Via Atenea potete trovare tutto quello che vi serve!
Nightlife
MoYo è il locale più cool della città. E una volta andate a mangiare alla Locanda di Terra!
