“Nice hotel, extras are very expensive tho”

All that you'd expect from a hotel of this price - helpful staff, comfortable rooms (bathroom was a bit dated tho), nice pool. On the downside the extras (ie laundry, restaurant were very expensive) and the staff in the restaurant were very slow. Could do a lot worse than this hotel tho.

“enjoyed our stay”

The location to the Taj Mahal was great and it was easy to get to when coming from Delhi. The grounds are beautiful but could use a little upkeep in some areas. The playground could be nice but the grass was high and the play area seemed a little ignored. Also, the game room near the pool was the same. The pool is beautiful and was a great spot for our family. Even though I was a little disappointed by the playground, our children had a fab time exploring the grounds and also playing in the playground. The restaurant staff was so nice and went out of the way to make sure our children got something they enjoyed. There were many choices and something for everyone. I would definitely suggest ITC Mughal to others and would go back. The housekeeping was also the sweetest. He set up the bed for our little ones and came back the next day to make sure they had slept well.

“hotel was very nice and clean. food was great. security was very good.”

THIS WAS AN EXCELLENT HOTEL AS EXPECTED WITH A STAR. FOOD WAS GREAT. ENTIRE CAMPUS WAS VERY WELL KEPT AND FELT LIKE AN OASIS IN THE CHAOS OF INDIA

“Never again”

After a very long, and stressful ride to Agra from Delhi, we finally arrived at this hotel. From the moment we checked in the receptionist found a way to disappoint, by not agreeing to give us 2 keys for our room. What a great way to "greet" your guests and show hospitality. I had to almost fight to get the required second key (ridiculous). We arrive to our "Mughal Suite" to find accommodations fit for the 1990´s. Being very tired, I decided to head out to the spa. Upon arrival into the spa, the front desk manager there ALSO said I could not enter if I did not have a treatment appointment (which sounded odd, but again, understandable), I explained I had a very long and tiresome journey and all I wanted was to use their facility to relax for a while. He proceeded to say "I´ll do you a favor and let you in" (by then, all I wanted was to turn around and leave!) After the Spa, I decided to order room service- a fiasco again. Breakfast the next morning- in a board room with a must carpet, b/c the restaurant was full (what kind of a hotel lacks a restaurant that can accommodate all its guests?) Certainly NOT a 5 star property, not even 3, if I may say so. Very disappointed with my entire stay. The scheme continued throughout our entire stay (at the spa, room service, restaurant, front desk) This is a place that wants to be great, but simply cannot. I will not stay there again.

“Nurse”

“Very impressed with this hotel. The only remarks I would make is that they can impove their food qua”

I am very impressed withis hotel. The only suggestion for improvement is the food quality for the room service. It was below my expecgtations and below that of other ITC hotels namely New Delhi, I stayed several times.

“Awesome ITC Mughal Agra!!!”

This hotel is exceptional! Everything was unbelievable! The staff at this hotel know what service is! The hotel and its grounds were beautiful! The restaurants and other facilities such as the spa were outstanding! I am very particular about what I like and I could not find any faults with this hotel!!! I strongly recommend this hotel!!

Area recommendations
This hotel is only a few minutes from the Taj Mahal and you can even see the Taj from the the hotel's observatory! The hotel is also very close to the action of Agra.
When to go
Agra is best to vist in January - March. the weather is perfect! A visit to the Taj Mahal during a full moon is recommended, however, a sunrise tour is just a beautiful!
Getting there
When you are picked up from Agra (Keira) Airport there is a tour service available for booking which included return transfers from airport to hotel and full guided tours of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. The cost for this full service is soooooo cheap!!! Book it at the airport before you leave!
Getting around
The tour service that you book at the airport is the best way to get around. The service will pick you up and take you to do anything at any time you like!!!
Must see
The Taj Mahal must be seen and Agra Fort is equally beautiful!
Dining
The hotel has 4 restaurants with a variety of foods for any taste. Exceptional food and service!

“Lovely hotel, personalised service”

Staff were all very friendly. Room clean, bed comfortable. Staff helped with everything we needed (for example, we were cold and were brought a heater straight away). Breakfast was great, all of the usual Western options as well as lots of traditional Indian food to taste. I would recommend this hotel, no problems at all!
