“Awesome hotel in less rate. Must try.”

Very near to Taj, a little bit far from local market (but does not matter much, I believe). Good view of Taj from some rooms and terrace. Clean rooms. Well decorated and maintained hotel. Only flaw, no lift, problem for elderly. Overall, a good and satisfactory experience.

“View alone, worth the money plus some”

I met a businessman from England on the trip who stayed at the $200 plus a night Radisson. He came to my hotel rooftop terrace all the time for food and drink due to the unbelievable view of the Taj.

Area recommendations

It doesn't matter. You can hire a tuk tuk for under 1500 a day. The Agra Fort is great. Go to the Taj at sunrise not necessarily because of the view, but because of the lines. Trust me, you will be so glad you did.

“so close to the taj but our room very dirty-gave us upgrade luckily”

arrived late at night so very little option to change rooms sheets very dirty asked for clean but replacements still dirty gave us replacement upgrade at last but!!!!! so close to taj mahal could walk there in 5 minutes and had roof top view of taj mahal

only red fort and taj to see in agra try to spend just one day here and one night as need early start

“It really takes the Taj (crown) amongst the budget hotels..”

Hotel is nice and warm, very near to Taj Mahal.. Even the road is a VIP road so it is really safe to walk around the hotel after you had your meals etc.. The people are friendly and helpful.. The staff is also very helpful and try to help you out as much as possible... I would definitly go back to the same hotel if I am visiting Taj Mahal..

“For 1-2 nights you can stay in this hotel”

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the Taj Mahal. It's true and it is very convenient. Our room was quite clean but very cold, hot water was lukewarm. But we believe the hotel correspond to its price.

“Good location only.. Not great otherwise”

Can walk to the Taj Mahal from here, but the rooms are not upto the mark. The noise from the neighborhood is bad. The restaurant in the hotel has bad food.

Area recommendations

You can stay in a better hotel slightly away from the Taj for the same price. You will want to visit the Mahal only once, so not much point in staying nearby.

“Really good location for Taj Mahal visit”

Rooms are a bit basic but pretty clean (including clean sheets!). Aircon makes a lot of noise (but prevents that you hear noise from outside) and is not very effective, but together with fan we were comfortable. Not always hot water. It is really close to East gate of Taj Mahal and has stunning (full) view on Taj Mahal from Roof Terrace which makes up for a noisy aircon or lack of hot water. Staff is very friendly. Very good value for money.

Area recommendations

Depends on what you want to see in Agra (apart from Taj Mahal). Taj Plaza is bit further away from other interesting sites but we walked to all of them (and there are plenty of other means of transport to bring you wherever you want to go). We were extremely happy with our choice of location since our main aim was to see as much of Taj Mahal as possible.

“Review”

although this hotel has the most wonderful view of the Taj Mahal from it's 4th floor roof top restaurant I would not recommend it to anyone. I was supposed to stay 3 nights but only stayed one - do not stay in Agra any longer than to see the Taj Mahal! I asked for a wake upi call which I didn't get and then had to wakle the hotel staff up ion order to check out, Three of us ate in the hotel restaurant and proceeded to be ill the following day. Do not be tempted by the price.
