“do not go here!”
Firstly when I got to this hotel they said i was in the tamlett area this hotel has two areas. tamlett is disgusting! the doors wouldnt open and no hot water lierally asked to be moved took them two hours to persuade them from sahara tours who are unprofessional. then they moved me to the agador part much better. doors open easily too. there are lifts! otherwise stairs everywhere. the food is bearable but not really moroccan at all. i couldnt find the so called relaxing pool. the oasis bar was ok when it states non alcoholic its not like a fake alcohol drink that you get they mean soft drinks like coke only. the animation team choose who they wish to talk to. staff do not greet in the restaurants instead they follow families only. the porters are okay though. my friend said she saw a cockroach once. overall this hotel is great for families i think but for individuals and couples no! the beach is a 7min walk away from hotel and you have your own private section where you get free cold drinks so beach part is excellent. the agador rooms are better than tamlett rooms. therefore if you do want to go here then make sure you go to the agador part. the spa is okay as well remember to tip. i didnt receive mint tea on arrival at hotel most hotels offer this and also i do not remember them serving mint tea at the bar a bit strange. i leave it in your hands!
“very impressed...dont believe all negative comments”
we have just returned from caribbean village,agador..went with trepidation due to some reviews but was very impressed with high standards . Staff couldnt do enough for us and animation team were better than good. we were with kids aged 3-17 and they were well entertained. hotel and rooms clean and comfy although not all rooms have a.c(fans can be hired) the food was very good standard and hygeine was not a problem. high levels of guests but more than enough.. we preferred the main restaurant"oasis" rathwer than themed restaurants. we only tipped if we wanted to & certainly were not pushed into it. yes towels were out early morning reserving chairs but we never went without. locals very welcoming & understand valuje of tourists. Ample food available and drinks, there is something to suit everyone. you need to barter locally and "souk al-had" a great market,. Kids really are kings there ,treated with love and respect as they should be!! beach nearby with private area reserved for the hotel. also an on site spa with qualified staff, we had a berber massage for 2 hrs reasonably priced. It is best to take sterling and exchange to dhirrams at bank outside hotel as euros work out expensive. Basically all the negative stuff i read and expected just did not happen .. go and enjoy this great hotel..we did!!
“Home from Home - never disappoints”
I have spent many happy times in this hotel, and although some might regard it as "cheap and cheerful" that is no bad thing. The staff are charming and I'm always made to feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is part of a complex, set in beautiful gardens with no less than 5 pools, ranging from the lively main pool where all the activities take place, to the small "relax pool" where you can chill out in peace and quiet. So there really is something for everyone. Evening entertainment is always fun, especially the Moroccan show (currently on a Friday night). As for food, the main buffet is fairly basic but with plenty of choice, and a range of delicious salads. There are also 6 themed restaurants which require booking but are part of the all-inclusive. Again, I would recommend the Moroccan and the steak restaurant, but that's my taste - there are also Chinese, sushi, fish restaurants and a pizzeria. The only problem I have with this hotel, and the resort as a whole, is that now I don't want to go anywhere else!!
“Great value for the money - the all-inclusive price also includes alcohol!”
The staff were friendly and eager to assist - most speak English. Rooms were of reasonable quality although my balcony door would not lock and the AC did not work. Still, I was impressed - the food was good and there was lots to do. With 8 bars, 7 restaurants and 5 pools, and also a theatre, you could spend a week here without getting bored or having to leave the complex (there is not a lot to see or do in Agadir). At first sight it is intimidating because of its size, but you soon get your bearings. There was also a good mix of age and nationalities staying there.
“Nov 2010 Agador”
The location is very good, the employees are nice and smiling, the service is ok. The cleanliness of the whole area is not what it could be, it seems that the water is a rare and expensive matter.
“Great Getaway”
We were at the Caribbean Village Agador for 3 days, 3 nights and it was a wonderful and relaxing vacation to Agadir. The hotel provided activities, food and drinks, so we didn't feel the need to leave at all. Facilities were clean and the Animation staff had some fun activities planned. I highly recommend to anyone who's looking for a relaxing pool/beach side vacation!
“Great Beach”
This was a good vacation. We spent the last two weeks of November 2009 at the resort. It was obviously the off season and not many guests, so plenty of room by the pool, beach, and restaurants. The facilities were clean and functioning, the food was good to very good, and the beach was great! Recommend taking in some of the full service restaurants on site, such as the Medina and the Fish Restaurant. The overnight bus trip to Marrakech was interesting, and the 2 hour camel excursion was fun for the sake of saying you actually rode a camel (technically a dromedary since it only had one hump) and getting some photos. One annoyance; though it is listed as an all-inclusive, there is a nominal charge for using the tennis and archery. Overall, a good vacation. Enjoy the beach!
“Nice hotel in the stile of the country”
I like this hotel, but there were some points, which disappointed me: 1. No fridge in the room. 2. No national sweets in the restaurant at all! 3. The cleaning of the room should be better 4. Extremely bad seats near the pool 5. Animation should be better
