“Good hotel,”

We arrived at the hotel around 3pm after a long, hot bus journey and were surprised to find that our rooms would not be ready for another half an hour. When that time had elapsed we were told it would be another 15 minutes. After a further half hour we were told again that it would be 15 minutes! At this point we showed ourselves to the rooms and waited whilst the cleaners finished their work. Had we arrived early in the morning we might have expected the rooms not to be ready but in mid-afternoon this was poor and got our stay off to a bad start. However things improved from there on - the hotel has a nice large pool and also it's own section of beach, rooms were large and well-equipped although the air conditioning was quite noisy. Food was plentiful although the menus were a bit repetitive. Service was generally up to 5-star standards. The town centre was not within walking distance but taxis are cheap and easy to find.
