Spacious hotel with lovely views

Posted 06-May-2014
Pros: It was spacious and recently decorated. We had a large room overlooking the sea.
Cons: The sheets were rather small for the twin beds, which were a good size.
Location: Aegina town harbour is picturesque with lots of cafes and restaurants. The ferry to Piraeus costs €7 - €9.50 depending on the time of day.
The hotel is situated outside Aegina Town on a quiet road near the sea.

"Nice Family / Couples Hotel"

Posted 27-Jul-2013
My Husband and i stayed at the Klonos Kyriakos Hotel in July with our young grandson, while visiting our son in Athens. We stayed in a triple occupancy room with a stunning view of the sea from side and front veranda's. Rooms cleaned everyday with fresh towels, helpful friendly staff and a nice sized clean swimming pool. Also only a short walk to the town, walking down hill but would sometimes catch a taxi back. We would recommend this hotel.

Fantastic hotel

Posted 10-Jul-2013
Cons: Our only thing was the air conditioning unit was slightly noisy at night time
Location: Great location. Close to beach, town and shops but far enough away from noise
Our first time in Aegina & we were really impressed with the hotel. The hotel staff are so friendly & can't do enough for you. The location was great, just an enjoyable 10 minute walk from the main town so lovely and peaceful. A very clean hotel throughout with great rooms and views

Nice hotel close to pier

Posted 08-Jul-2013
Pros: Service was excellent; lobby, eating area and pool were beautiful.
Cons: Beds are a bit hard, but everything else in the bathroom and bedroom is very clean and functional.
Location: There are many restaurants and small tourist shops by the pier.
This is an excellent hotel about 10 minutes walk from the pier.

We were extremely pleased with this hotel. It was immaculate, full of light and spacious, with an absolutely gorgeous view from our second floor balcony. A delightful garden of brilliantly blooming bouganvillia, along with other flowering bushes and trees, separated the hotel from the clearest blue sea imaginable. The owners of the hotel were very gracious and welcoming and we felt completely relaxed and peaceful there, which was exactly what we had been hoping for.

Great place, a little far from town center

As far as Greek hotels go, this was a really nice place. The newly remodeled bar area is beautiful. The pool area is nice too. We visited during a heat wave, and the air conditioning works well. The problem is that all electricity is turned off when we leave the room (while inhabiting the room, we insert the key in a slot that turns on all electricity.) While this is very "green," the items in our refriderator were not kept cool. The hotel is a nice walk from Aegina town, but it is uphil. Visitors with luggage should consider a taxi.

Pros: My children would definately say the pool.
Cons: We did not have a sea view.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel, staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel and pool area were well maintained and clean. The location was brilliant, walking distance to the port and restaurant area, but far enough away from the main road. We would definately book this hotel again.
