“Very nice hotel, awesome bathroom”
Really lovely small to medium sized hotel with a good restaurant and very efficient, friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others, normally hard to please but this hotel ticked all my boxes. The basic rooms don't all have baths though so good to request one with a bath if you definitely need one. My bathroom was lovely, had a massive deep bath and a separate glass shower enclosure. The opening shutters between the bathroom and bedroom meant I could watch TV whilst soaking in the bath! lovely
“Among top choices for staying in Adelaide city”
Conveniently located, good service, nice rooms
“Great hotel!”
As a former adel resident this stuck out as an obvious choice when coming back. Great stay, room and location. Would stay again.
“Ideal location in Adelaide”
The staff and location of this hotel were perfect. Everything was within 20 minutes walking time - the zoo, South Australian Museum, botanic gardens, Rundle mall, restaurants and even the annual Christmas pageant parade route!! While the gym was quite small (2 treadmills, full set of free weights and an cycle), the equipment was high quality and I was the only person there each time. The room was great and had enough storage to accommodate 2 weeks worth of clothing and travel necessities out of sight. Our bed was not as comfortable as I am accustomed, but it was not a show-stopper. We did not take advantage of the hotel's dining, primarily because it was quite expensive and we could easily walk to many other places and select something more affordable. The menu did look fabulous for hotel dining, however.
“Best hotel deal I found”
The Majestic Garden Roof Hotel in Adelaide was the best hotel deal I found in my 3-week travels in Australia. The room was modern, nice and fairly priced, and the entire neighborhood was filled with affordable restaurants. The one fault was the high price for internet connection, but there were internet hot spots on the street a block away.
“Great Adelaide stay”
The Majestic was a pleasant surprise. Not the area I normally stay when in Adelaide but would not hesitate to return.
“Best value hotel in town”
Great location Close to great restaurants and shops Staff were friendly and helpful Only bad comment was that I left my makeup in the bathroom and when I realised and called back to organise to pick it up it had magically disappeared, which was a bit disappointing :(
“Extremely happy”
We were extremely happy with the hotel and would go back there if we went to Adelaide again.
“An amazing hotel and city!”
I can see why this hotel has won recent awards because it is just fab. Staff couldn't do enough to help, hotel was modern, clean and in a great location. We stayed in an executive room whcih was worth every extra penny, so clean, spacious and ultra moden, the bathroom was particularly fancy! The location is perfect, right next to the shops, restaurants, gardens and cricket but despite this feels really quiet. Adelaide is just a fantastic city. So friendly, clean and spacious...If only I could emmigrate!
“Can't wait to go back!”
Great hotel. Staff were extremely helpful! We asked them for all kinds of advice on day trips and restaurants and they were great. We loved Adelaide and the hotel. The room was immaculate and the bed was so comfortable. Would definitely recommend to others!
