“Top location”

Convenient for city centre. Well-presented and good value for money. Definitely stay here again when in Adelaide.

“Comfortable hotel”

Building dated, but room clean, comfortable, refrigerator & air cond. worked. Staff friendly & helpful. I had a room facing back lot, so my room was quiet.

“Rude front desk lady.”

The only people who had a clue about customer service at this hotel were the cleaners. Someone should put them in charge of the front desk. While the cleaners were friendly and helpful, the lady at the front desk was arrogant and unhelpful - bordering on surly . This was not something I expected to find at such a highly rated hotel. Having said that, the hotel room was fine. The room was clean and had an ensuite with shower. The weather here in Adelaide during my stay was hovering around 43 degrees celcius (109 degrees fahrenheit). The aircon was great and the swimming pool was incredible. I strongly recommend this pool at the end of a hot day. Other points that were mildly annoying but did not really affect my visit were that the television was impossible to navigate - I never did find the advertised free movies and the hotel charges you 90cents a call for local calls irregardless of whether or not the call was connected. I thought that type of gouging only occurred in Africa.

Area recommendations
I would recommend Glenelg - the chicks at the beach don't wear a lot.
Dining
We ate at the Stag Hotel. They offer a kilogram of prime Rib eye steak that they slow cook to perfection. It was worth the whole trip just for that chunk of meat. The home-made barbecue sauce is also worth the trip - you won't find better eating.

“Handy location, would stay again”

Everything was terrific, except they were painting a room, about 4 down from ours and it stank. Otherwise couldn't fault the place. Very nicely decorated.

“good location”

Hotel is very close to the CBD. Older hotel and showing it's age. We booked family rooms and while they did have the beds required, the rooms were small and didn't have much space other than the beds.

“Liegt Zentral ca. 10 laufen in Stadtzentrum, direkt an einer befahrenen Strasse”

4 Sterne für dieses HOtel sind ein Witz. Zimmer war sauber Leute auch freundlich und hilfsbereit ansonsten erfüllt es keine 4Sterne Standard. Dunkles altmodisch eingerichtetes Zimmer, laut an der Strasse, kein Ort zum Verweilen und Wohlfühlen. Eine Nacht hat mehr als nur gelangt. Sog. Pool war vollkommen verchlort und unbenutzbar

Adelaide ist nur zum Durchfahren geeignet
