Excellent place to stay.

Pros: The beds were nice and large. There was a large number of cable channels to choose from. Also, the breakfast selection was very good as well.
Location: The hotel is located right off of Interstate 75...very convienent.
I picked this hotel for a one night stay on my way back to Illinois from Orlando. Overall, it was a very pleasant place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, being a big Illinois sports fan, I was surprised and excited to learn that they had the Big 10 channel because they had a game that night...that pretty much made my night!

If it wasn't for "Phil" at the front desk, I would give my whole stay a bad review. The hotel is new and in a great location with several restaurants around it and at interstate crossroads. However, the furniture is used and have old sagging mattresses, old large tv's, small bathroom, and tightly controlled towels! I had 1 more nights stay and they were already counting my towels and leaving me very few. I couldn't believe it. Phil helped me to print out my boarding pass for my flight the next day. Continental breakfast was minimal and coffee in a thermos was cold. There is no computer for their customers and the one that they were using was so old and full of dust! Location was great but there are other hotels in same area and plan to use them in the future instead of this one.

We are putting in a new computer which I was actually working on during your stay. Sorry about the coffee, the machine next to it is were the coffee is supposed to be taken from, the owner had forgotten to put the thermos away from the night before's noon gathering. Very disappointed in Countryside

Pros: The entire stay was disappointing.
Location: Good breakfast at near by Cracker Barrel restaurant.
Check-in took 25 minutes, Room had odor and was stale because A/C was not running, Room was not cleaned or towels replaced after 1st night.

Thanks for your review. Sorry check in took so long, that is very unusual. There must have been a computer problem at the time. It's true the A/C does not run 24 hrs a day but we do try to keep the rooms clean and deodorized. There are enough towels (3) and other supplies in the room for 2 days. We normally don't disturb the guest unless they stay over that period, especially if the do not disturb sign is on the door, like is was on your room (recorded in our daily logs).

Clean and Cozy

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room was very clean and cozy. We will definately stay again when we are in town.

Excessively Dirty and had Roaches

I knew i was getting a budget hotel, and adjusted my expectations accordinly, but this was gross and dirty well beyond what is reasonable. Dead roaches in the hallways, random mouse traps in the hall, stained towels, stained curtains and bedsheets. I would not stay here, regardless of the price.

Not sure what the real problem was, but we don't have mouse traps or roaches and the hotel is very clean.

Close to highway

We stayed in this hotel traveling from MO to FL. It was very convenient, clean, had comfortable beds and good breakfast options. There were 6 of us and we all fit comfortably in one of the 'family' rooms, which saved us from having to rent 2 separate rooms for the night. Also the outdoor pool was open all night - we got there kind of late and the kids were very excited that they could still go swimming.
